A few weeks later...
Riker POV
Dear Journal,
I can't believe how much better I'm doing. Neither can my family or Kelsey. I just feel so much happier, it's kind of crazy.
It's definitely because of the medication. Therapy is helping a little bit too, but I think it's mostly the medication.
And I'm ok with that. As long as I'm feeling better, which I am.
"Riker, ready for bed?" Rocky asked.
I shut my journal.
"Yup!"
Rocky got in bed beside me.
"You ok?" He asked.
"Yup, why?"
"Because you were writing in your journal, so I was just checking."
"Nope, I'm ok. It was all good things."
"Good. You seem happy, Rik."
I snuggled into his side.
"I am."
Rocky pulled the covers over us and we got ready to go to sleep.
"You're really happy?" Rocky asked.
"Yup. I promise I am. I'm feeling tons better."
"Ok. Night, Rik."
"Night!"
The next day...
Riker POV
I went to Kelsey's house since it was the weekend. We just wanted to hang out and stuff.
I flopped down on her bed beside her, smiling.
"You seem so happy, Rik," she said, wrapping her arms around me.
"Rocky said that too."
"Well do you feel happy?"
"Yeah."
"Good. You've come a long way since I found your journal."
"Definitely."
I snuggled into her.
"Thanks for always being there for me," I said, smiling.
"Of course. I'm just glad I found you before something really bad happened."
"Me too."
"I love you, Rik."
"I love you too."
I turned and kissed her, smiling.
