I never thought I'd be back at Castle Godfrey. As Roman said, it's called Castle Godfrey because it might as well be a castle. I haven't been here in over a year. Let's just say this was where Roman and I would make out for a good month before I told him never mind the place gave me the creeps. It still does.

"How does it feel to have your name on everything?" Peter asked as Roman parked outside the gate.

"Like a fucking pimp," Roman responded.

I gave him a look. "What does that make me? Your whore?"

Peter looked next to me with a teasing smile. "Well..." I slapped the back of his head. Peter started laughing. "Ok, not a whore. Think about it as a...," the teasing smile became a grin, "classy escort?"

I ponder at the thought. I guess classy escort is better than a whore. "Fair enough."

Peter winked before looking around the lot. "Isn't there somewhere around back we can park this? You know..." In case we get caught? I highly doubt it.

"Nobody gives a shit what happens out here," Roman commented. He motioned to me. "You know how many times Lee and I fucked out here?"

"Gross."

I sighed. "That's what I said after the fourth time." I patted their shoulders as I started climbing out of the car. "Come on, let's go."

The guys nodded as they followed me. Roman took out one of his cigarettes and lit it while I grabbed the extra key he gave me to unlock the gate.

"Cool," Peter said as we made our way in. We went around the building before Roman grabbed the key from me to unlock the door.

The place was dark. I could still smell the dust in here. The smell of feces lingered in the air as I tried not to gag.

"You guys ever see this place when it was running?" Peter asked.

"No," I said as I shivered slightly. I should have brought a warmer jacket. "Just being back here gives me the creeps."

Roman didn't look back as he took lead. "My old man closed it before I was born." We went further into the building. "Lots of people died here - workers and shit."

One of the water pipes was busted so water was dripping down to the floor. I kept getting colder and held my jacket tight. I never like this place. Why am I here again?

Roman noticed my shivering and took his jacket off. He handed it to me, which I smiled in thanks. The minute I put his jacket off, I was instantly warm. It was a bit big on me which makes it all the better.

"You know when you close your ears, sometimes the sound of your heart is like a little man walking through snow," Roman pointed out.

Peter watched out for the pipes on the floor. "Yep." Really? To me, it's like if someone got a hammer and is pounding a nail with it. "Hey, what was that, uh, big structure that was outside?"

"It's a Bessemer converter. At one point, they made pig iron into money." We jumped over a torn off part of the wall. Good thing I'm not wearing sandals or flats right now.

I wrapped my arms around myself. "Do we have any idea what we're looking for?"

"Uh...driver's license, social security card, dream journal..." Peter listed off.

"This is a joke," Roman complained. He looked around the room. "Left or right."

I looked both ways. "When in doubt, go right?"

Peter raised his arms. "I don't know. Let's just split up." He pointed to the left. "I'll go this way." Roman nodded before grabbing my hand. "And no sucking faces!"
