A/N: Hey, everyone. As you can tell by the title that this isn't going to be a happy chapter.

I've decided that I'm going to discontinue What Is Love. Usually, when I discontinue a story I would just delete it. But I couldn't really bring myself into deleting this after so many chapters have been worked on and everyone who's been reading this since the very first chapter.

I do appreciate everyone for reading this. I know I say this a lot but I really do. So thank you.

And instead of just ending the book with the last chapter, I'll just explain what I was gonna go through with this story and with Roman and Lyanna's relationship. For starters, I'm just going to list off what was supposed to happen with the rest of season one then continue with seasons 2 and three along with the ending I planned for this story. And I apologize if any of these are out of order or if I got some stuff wrong, I'm just going off of memory.

Skipping to the end of season 1:

Roman, Lyanna, and Peter go and hunt down the vargulf. They, along with Letha and Christina, go to the abandoned church because they believe the vargulf's next target is Christina. Christina has her breakdown and is revealed the be the vargulf. The guys tie her up while Peter threatens to kill her if she decides to shift. Christina transforms anyway while Letha decides to run out but the church is locked. Christina knocks Peter out of the way and goes after Lyanna. Roman, with the ax in his hands, froze in fear because the vision he and Peter shared about Lyanna's death was happening. The vargulf kept scratching Lyanna all over her body until Roman snapped out of his fear and knocked Christina off with the ax. Roman holds the bleeding Lyanna with one arm while holding the ax out as a shield. Christina growls at them before she leaps, only for the fully shifted Peter to come out and knock her aside. Christina gets the upper hand and bites Peter's neck before she goes to attack Roman, Letha - who was not by their side - and Lyanna.

Shelley comes out and grabs Christina before snapping her neck. Shelley sees Lyanna's clawed up body and runs over. Lyanna tries to reassure her that she's fine, even though she's about to pass out. Soon Sheriff Sworn shoots Shelley in the back. Shelley gets up and runs into the woods. Lyanna ignores her own weak state and runs after the girl with Roman calling for the both of them. Roman uses his compulsion to stop Sworn from chasing Shelley. Roman soon finds Lyanna, who's collapsed on the ground due to the blood loss.

Roman takes Lyanna to the same hospital Letha's having her baby in. Cam hears the news about his niece and rushes over, furious with Roman. They have an argument where Cam tells Roman that Lyanna's leaving him because of the dangerous shit he puts her through. Roman wasn't happy and argued that Cam isn't the greatest uncle for not even realizing that his niece is anorexic. Cam, not believing in him, tries to throw him out while Roman kept asking questions about Lyanna's eating habits Cam, now realizing, is true. Roman then compels Cam to leave without his niece, threatening the man that if he ever sees the man again then he'll kill him.

As if tragedy didn't strike them enough, Letha died from childbirth. Peter and Lynda left, not without talking about Lyanna first. The vargulf scratched Lyanna pretty deeply but they knew she would survive. But some next full moon, Lyanna would become a vargulf herself and might need his help. Peter, too devastated about Letha's death, shook his head and told Lynda that Roman can look after her.

Lyanna wakes up the day Roman decides to commit suicide. After hearing that Roman is actually the father of Letha's baby and Olivia wants him to kill the newborn, Roman decides to take his own life. He slashed both his arms and lost a lot of blood, which caused him to become an Upir. Lyanna finds the baby and Roman's dead body. She cries before cradling his body against hers. Soon he wakes up, surprising Lyanna. He reveals everything that happened after she was passed out. Along with the child being his.
