"DADDY'S BACK." 

Kinabahan na agad ako. Ayoko nito. Masaya na buhay ko.. Akala ko ba papatahimikin na niya ako? =__= Di pwede 'to. 

"Ereen, I got to go." Kailangan ko na umalis bago pako makita ng lalaking 'to. 

"But Oppa----" 

"Where are you going?" Ayan na, too late to go now. 

Hinarap ko siya ng hindi ngumingiti. 

"Why are you back?" Ganda ng pangbunggad ko sakanya noh? I just hate him. No, not him. HIS JOB. Or whatever he calls it. 

Tumawa siya. "Ang ganda naman ng bati mo sakin, Anak. I miss you too." Bumaba na siya sa hagdan namin. 

Nakatayo lang ako sa pwesto ko. Si Ereen ayun, nakatayo sa tabi ko. Pero nakayuko. She hates my father's job too but she's too scared to say anything. 

"Where's mom?" 

"I left her in Europe." Sumeryoso expression niya. I know this expression. =___= I did something he didn't like. 

Huminga ako ng malalim. "What did I do this time?" 

"This." Tas may inabot siya sakin na brown envelope. 

Binuksan ko ang brown envelope. 

"PANO KA NAGKAROON NITO?!" Galit kong tanong! God! Why does he always have to interfere with my life! 

"Who's this girl, Ernest?" 

"It's none of your business." Matigas kong sabi. 

"IT IS MY BUSINESS. You know your future. And she can't be in it." 

"Ereen, please go to your room... Now." Agad namang umalis si Ereen. "Future?! Bullshit! They say you go to school to have a BRIGHT future. A BRIGHT FUTURE! What's bright about that future, Dad?! It's a DARK FUTURE, Dad! I don't want to be in it! I don't want your life! It's full of bullshit! I can't even love! I hate your job! I despise it! You know that but you don't care at all!!" 

*PAAAAAAAAAAAAAK* 

Sinampal niya ko. Yes, sinampal ako ng tatay ko!

"How dare you! This job fed you! Lahat ng meron ka, dahil sa trabaho ko! Ang kapal ng mukha mo! Lahat ng 'to para sainyo ni Ereen! Ng mommy mo! Wala kang karapatan para kasuklaman ang trabaho na bumubuhay sainyo! Now, leave that girl! You know what will happen to her if you disobey me, child." Sabay talikod niya. "I got those pictures easily without you noticing. You were with her all the time but you didn't know someone's following the both of you. I can see that you feel something special for that girl by the way you move with her. Stop it now, Ernest. Before it's too late. You can't protect her from me."

"I don't want to be a drug lord, Dad." Mahina kong sabi. I'm beat. Wala akong magawa. 

"You need to. You have no choice." Tas tuluyan na siyang umakyat ng hagdan. 

*Riiiiiing riiiiiiiiiiing* 

*Isabelle calling* 

Ano pa nga ba magagawa ko? Edi hindi sasagutin. Wala akong magagawa..
