Thursday 11th of September
Today was a pupil free day and I can’t remember the reason why. So Jade recruited everyone except Precious and her posse. She had told them that she had a sneaky suspicion that Leah could’ve been the one who burned down the room.
So we’re inside a big navy blue van that has been parked around the corner. It belongs to a friend of Jade’s named Gwen. She’s a blonde and she’s exactly like Jade except a total tomboy. She was wearing baggy jeans and a grey tank top with a brown jacket.
Our task was to pretty much get Leah to confess that she has our diary and hopefully we can exchange evidences together. The people involved in this operation were Ben, JJ, Andrealle, Jade, Akemi, Gwen and I. Oh yeah; my brother isn’t part of it.
Inside the van, are several mini boxed TV’s and there is a satellite dish on top of the van. The doors could only be opened by a hand scanning and the windows were bullet proof. At the back was a double door which is where we could escape and in the front was the driver’s seat. In the middle, you could fold the chairs to the side to create space. And as of now, Gwen was working on some electronics and other equipment.
“Okay….Let me just make few things clear” Gwen began
“There is only one rule and that rule is whatever I say goes. Got it?” she asked and we all nodded.
“Now, who’s our guinea pig” she asked and Luke shot up his hand.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we’re using Luke because we know Leah will let her guard down around him because he’s a sweet talker. So he’ll be her Luke Charming.
“Ok, put this in-ear monitor on” she instructs him
“Also wear this beanie to cover your ear so she doesn’t see it. And there is a camera in your beanie so that we can see everything on the screen” Gwen orders
“Wait you’re saying you can actually see everything through that mini camera” Ben asks shocked
“No, I’m speaking Spanish” she said sarcastically
“But you just said-” Ben was cut off
“Yo Curly, the sky is blue right?” Gwen asks
“Yeah…obviously I mean wh-” he was cut off again
“There’s your answer” she concludes
“Can somebody explain to me why I have to go” Luke asked
“Because Leah will answer to you” Jade answers
“No she won’t” Luke said sure of himself
“Why not” Andrealle asked
“I dumped her” he tells us and all of us groan
“When?” Akemi asks
“Over 3 weeks ago” he counted
“Man, what’s wrong with you?” JJ asked
“It’s not my fault. Someone asked me to prove to her that I actually care about her” Luke blurted while looking at me
“Yeah and dumping was the way to go?” I asked.
“Well, isn’t that obvious enough” Luke asked me
“I don’t know. Breaking a girl’s heart just so a girl can you give you her heart does make sense” I say
“What do you want me to do?” Luke looked at me desperately
“Is there something we’re missing?” Akemi butted in.
“Anywho….who’s going to be telling Mr HotStuff what to do so he doesn’t upset the girl even more?” she asked while holding the microphone
