Thursday 18th of September

It was way too normal for my liking. Despite everything that happened last week, I expected something to happen. I mean Leah can be unpredictable and I know that if the girl that I dislike has drawn the attention away from me; I would want to do something. Well in Leah’s case.

I was sitting on the orange couch with Jade who was looking up funny videos about people who made stupid mistakes. Andrealle was flipping through a Vogue magazine. Akemi was sitting on the beanbag texting away on her phone. I was reading a book. And let me just say it was way too normal like I said before. My friends think I’m paranoid but how can I not?

“Ooh. Guys you know how we did that spy thing last week” Akemi asked

“Yeah” Andrealle answered as she was examining a picture

“Well, I can say that Leah didn’t cause the fire” Akemi believed

“She did. I know she did” I say

“Yeah she wanted to cause the fire but didn’t actually cause the fire” Akemi stated

“Akemi, stop speaking in riddles” Jade said as she typed something

“Remember what Leah said. ‘I would never stain my record but there’s always someone willing to do our dirty jobs’ ” Akemi quoted

“So you’re saying that Leah would have gotten someone to do it” I concluded

“Exactly plus, if you look at the note, the handwriting is messy. Leah has neat handwriting”

“So that means the person who wrote it starts with the letter L” Andrealle noted

“Shouldn’t the bell ring right about now” Jade asked

“Yeah, it’s pretty late”

“Until the bell rings, enjoy it while it last” Andrealle said as she started to open a Marie Claire magazine.

Some grade 8 kid walked up to me and gave me a pink envelope. I opened it and it said:                                     Prepare for your worst nightmare

“What does it say” Akemi asks

“Prepare for your worst nightmare” I read out and Jade laughs

“How is that funny” I ask

“Oh sorry, I was just laughing at the idiot who decided to roll himself in nuts and is now being chased by squirrels” she laughed

I was about to ask the kid who gave it to him but he walked away. Akemi got up and told us that she would follow him. Once she left, Ben and JJ had come to sit with us. I also saw Luke walk towards us. I was about to leave but the boys held each of my arms.

Luke got up on our orange table and told everyone to shush. Everyone stopped talking and he cleared his throat. He got down and kneeled on one knee and pulled out a white rose.

“Jamie, would you be m-”

“Luke, thank you for getting everybody’s attention” Leah said as she stood on the blue table that belonged to the rebels.

“I just wanted everyone to know that Luke Daniels, the heartthrob is a two timer. Jamie isn’t the girl you think she is. Can you believe that she was having a secret relationship with Precious’ boyfriend” she asked shocked and everyone looked in my direction.

Jade had gotten of her phone. Leah had pulled out multiple copies of our kiss. Luke on the other hand just grinned sheepishly.

“She what!” Precious screeched. She too got up on the white table.
