What is your name?

Katie, but people call me Kate or Kat.

How old are you?

16.

What inspired you to write your first book?

Depends what first book we're talking about. :P My first ever book was inspired by my beanie baby unicorn and my first one on here was inspired by a job advert. :')

Who is your favourite author and what really strikes you about their work?

Hannah Harrington and Jenny Downham. Both of them have written stories that approach the more serious side of fiction, like deaths or cancer and I just find the way that they're able to empathise with the character and create emotion so brilliantly is just amazing. :')

What is your favourite/theme genre to write about?

Romance/Teen fiction :')

Do you see writing as a career? 

I would love to be able to, but I highly doubt I will get anywhere :')

If you could work with any author, who would it be?

Simone Elkeles, her work is amazing. :')

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

I have written 2 that are fairly hard hitting, based on facts, yes. :')

Did you ever think that you'd be where you are right now?

No, didn't even cross my mind, but the support I get for the stories is absolutely amazing. :')

What advice would you give to people who run out of creativity when writing?

Don't stress over it too much. I tend to, and then feel like ripping my hair out. The best thing to do would be to leave it and watch/read something. It always helps :')

 Do you ever suffer from writer's block, if so, what do you do about it?

All the time, it's awful! I end up having to leave it and irritate everybody by not being able to update. :P

Do you have any advice for other writers?

I always get asked this and I'd be wattpad's worst agony aunt. I don't really have much advice apart from write for you, rather than other people on this site. If you change your ideas for other people, your story isn't going to be as well written or passionate. So, yeah, that's all my advice :P

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Paha! I'm actually so boring it's unbeliveable! I can turn my tongue right over?

How would you describe yourself?

Um... quirky, friendly and a little bit odd? :')
