How old are you?

Fifteen.

What inspired you to write your first book?

As strange as it sounds, the first story I ever remember writing was based off of a Barbie ice skating video game I had when I was six. It was, obviously, horribly written and never finished.

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

Ally Carter is my favorite author because I really love her Gallagher Girls series. There's just something about those books that I love so much.

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

Romance.

Do you see writing as a career?

Definitely!

If you could work with any author who would it be?

Ally Carter because she's my favorite or J.K. Rowling because... she's J.K. Rowling.

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

Nope.

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

Definitely not! I'm so lucky!

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

Just don't give up. Ideas will come to you eventually. There was a time a few months ago when I had no story ideas, and it worried me a little bit because it lasted for quite a while. But now, my ideas just keep coming and coming.

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

I get writer's block all the time. You just have to keep writing and push your way through it, even if you think what you wrote sucks.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

If you want to write, then write. Don't let anything that anyone says ever stop you from doing something you love to do.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Hmm... Well, I love to act. I'm in drama at school, and it's definitely my favorite class. I like to sing, and I've been taking lessons ever since I was eleven, so for about four years. I'm obsessed with Disney and Disneyland is my favorite place.

How would you describe yourself?

That's always a really tough question to answer because I really don't know how to describe myself. So, honestly, I don't even know.
