What is your name?

My name is Mareliza with Mo or Lisa for the people who struggle with remembering it. 

How old are you?

I'm 21, though I do look about 16-18 ... Lol! Story of my life!! 

What inspired you to write your first book?

Hmm, my first story I ever wrote was when I was in 7th grade and it was insired by Harry Potter. I got this idea of how I would like things to have happened if it was me and then I just started jotting it down. I wrote pages and pages until I decided it was silly and threw it away. Looking back no, I realize that it was actually a really great idea I had going! 

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

This one is always toughone because I can never choose an author. I like Karen Marie Moning because her men are so drool worthy and sexy in that dark manly kind of way (not to mention that they're Highlanders ... I mean, HELLO!! :P) but I also like Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake Series because it has Vampires, Wereanimals and al sorts of other supernatural goodies that I'm so fascinated with. It also has some really hardcore, smexy men and love scenes that always makes me sit up and pay VERY good attention.

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

Right now I'm really into writing Romance/Erotica and I'm finding it increasingly more difficult to write any other genre.

Do you see writing as a career?

Oh, I would LOVE to have a writing career!! It would, as corny as it may sound, be a dream come true for me :)

If you could work with any author who would it be?

Definitely the two author's I mentioned before! Maybe even Lora Leigh ...

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

All my stories have something 'real' about them. My characters are often based off someone in my life or contain small parts of me, though I never realize it until a little later. Some of the things that were done or said also happened to or with me, which is why it is so easy to describe or write about it. It also makes it easier for the readers to connect to my stories in some way.

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

With so many fans or reads? No ways!! I started an account on here just to be able to comment on some other stories but then I had a thought of actually putting my own work on here. I took the leap the one day and slowly but surely, I found myself where I am now :)

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

Just reax! Don't rush or over-think it. I know how it is when you have people demanding uploads every hour of every day but the story is yours. Not theirs. This means that you write when you feel inspired and post when you are satisfied with what you have. Writing is supposed to be enjoyed and savoured, not made to feel like a chore!

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

I've been getting it quite regularly now and when it happens, I usually read. It helps relax my mind because I've found that it happens when I feel over-stressed or worried. After a while, I get this itch to write and VOILA! you have a smexy chapter.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Whatever you do and what you write, enjoy it. It's something special that you share with others and, quite often, you'll touch someone's life. It makes what you do magical!

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know? How would you describe yourself?

I can be rather shy at times and I clam up as soon I'm in the presence of hunkiness, which totally sucks! I have my moments where I can be rather big mouthed but that's usually when I'm drooling over a cute guy! 

I'm always fantisizing and creating different scenes in my head which is why I have been labled the 'quiet one'. I have shocked a few people when they find out just what it is that I write about.
I have a weakness for shoes, handbags and a good book.

I love my disney movies.

I sing in the shower and I absolutely adore dancing!! Whether it's some weird booty shake in the privacy of my room or with my friends in the clubs, I'm all over a good song!!
