What is your name?

Hey! I’m Erin. =)

How old are you?

Er…do I have to answer this? >.< Fiiiine. I’m 28, and feel like a definite grandma on here at times. =/

What inspired you to write your first book?

Nothing really. I just kind of wanted to see if I could write something that people would actually read. So curiosity I guess? =P

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

I have tons of favorite authors, lol. Right now though, I would have to say Olafferty (from Wattpad). She’s brilliant. Her writing style is unique, as are her storylines. I’ve seriously never read anything like her stories before. They’re amazing. =) And she’s a pretty kickass person too. xD

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

Well, all of my stories will likely have some romance, so definitely that. And I love to write humor. It just seems to flow well for me. =D

Do you see writing as a career?

Aha, I would love to say yes to that, but I really don’t think I’m good enough to make it a career. It’s a fun pastime though. =)

If you could work with any author who would it be?

Probably hopelessromantic1993 because we have similar tastes in stories and I think we would balance each other out well. She likes to plan, whereas I just go with the flow. I think it would be interesting to see where that would take us. And we have actually come up with a plot for a story and a joint account. We’ve just been too busy lately to do anything with it. =/

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

Hehe…sometimes. The scene at the beginning with Scott in “Persuade Me” was somewhat factual. He did get introduced to my high heeled sandals at a party he wasn’t supposed to be at. And yes, his name was actually Scott. He was and is a douche. =P 

Did you ever think you'd be where you are right now?

Hahaha! Not in a gazillion years! I never thought people would read what I consider to be rather cringe-worthy work lol. But I’m glad they have and seem to enjoy it. And most have been extremely supportive which I truly appreciate. =)

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

Don’t force it. Take a break. Read a book, watch a movie, surf the net. Whatever you have to do. Sometimes by not thinking about it, it’ll come to you faster. If that makes any sense at all…

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

I do. And I basically I do what I said up there. I take a break and just let it come to me when it comes. 

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Write from the heart and don’t be afraid to take risks. And try not to give into the pressure to upload. I’ve done that, and they ended up being chapters I’m not all that proud of. But most of all, write for you. Do it because it’s something you love. What’s the point in doing it otherwise? If you’re only doing it for votes and reads, chances are it’s not something your heart is fully invested in.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Hmmmm…I like to pretend I’m an awesome ninja, when really I fail at it quite epically. Also, I have a slight obsession with zombies and have recently decided that a ninja zombie would be the coolest thing ever! xD Aaaaaand…I’m slightly crazy I think. >.< My thoughts truly do worry me at times. =/

How would you describe yourself?

I am without a doubt a dork. But I love my friends and family more than I love myself, and would do anything I could for them. I’m usually honest to a fault. I do hedge a bit if I think something may hurt your feelings. I have a pretty effective death glare down (you have been warned). I suck at being stern, so my daughter basically owns me. And I fail at telepathy. o.O How’s that? xD
