Bad Boy is Popular

At school, he's a popular. He's rich, he's a player, and has all the girls head over heels for him. Out of school, he's a bad boy. He fights, he gets into trouble, and he breaks the law. And he still gets all the girls. What happens when Jeanette finds out Chase's secret. Will she tell everyone? Or will she keep it. One thing is for sure. They'll get a boat load of anger, jealousy, happiness, and maybe even love.

What is your name?

My name is Madison Loggins.  

How old are you?

I am, at the moment, 13.    

What inspired you to write your first book?

Wattpad. My friend, Andrea, was reading on her app, and I was reading over her shoulder, I went home, got the app, and started reading all these amazing stories. I was like 'Why am I not doing this?' and so I started to really write. When I was younger, I had written little short stories, but know I'm a more dedicated author.  

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

Well, technically, this answer changes for me all the time. I think right now it is Scott Westerfeld. (That's how you spell his name, right?) He really captivated me with the Uglies series. He writes with such meaning. I want to be able to do that, too.  

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

Hmm... That's difficult, but I'd probably have to choose Humor. Or maybe Romance. Wait... Teen Fiction. Yeah, Teen Fiction. *insert smile here*

Do you see writing as a career?

Sometimes I do, but most of the time I see it as a fantastic hobby that no one knows I love.  

If you could work with any author who would it be?

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

All the time! If I have a really funny or freaky experience, I write it down and use it in one of my books. Like the one in Perfect is Overrated, I've been in a similar situation. I base certain traits of my main female character off me or my friends. And for the males, past boyfriends, or friends.

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

Let me put it this way, if you had come up to me and told me I'd be a writer with hundreds of reads, I would have probably slapped you. So no, but I still really don't believe it all. 

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

Read some books, watch TV, go shopping, people watch, listen to random people's conversations and come up with stories for them, do something weird and get responses, and if all else fails, listen to music.

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

All the flipping time! I basically do what what I told other writers to do, but I take it to the extreme. The problem with me is, I suffer from writers block in the middle of a story, but never cease to come up with random story ideas.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Yes. Basically, don't write for votes, fans, or comments, write what you want to write. I'm not saying that those aren't good, because they can give you motivation, but what I'm saying is, don't base your works off that. If you need advice or help, feel free to ask me or other writers. Use editors, those people can be lifesavers.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Hmm... I'm a dancer! I absolutely love music. I like rock, alternative, Christian, country, electronic, etc. I play some insturments and I sing. I hate judgmental people. I've gone through some pretty crappy stuff, but I'm awesome because of it. I am terrible at writing about my personal life. I love to talk to anyone and everyone!

How would you describe yourself?  

I'm a combination of a nerd, popular, and badass. Weird, I know. I'm what you call 'pretty', but I don't give a crap about my own appearance. I'm a people person, most of the time. Straight A student, and all that crap. Complete and utter blond, I even have the hair to match. Slightly ADHD. I hate posting pics of myself, so you guys will probably never see the 'real me'. I have the craziest best friends.    One last note: I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! :)
