What is your name?

My real name is Olga:)

What inspired you to write your first book?

I’m not sure I really got inspired by anything. I think it was mainly that I had too many ideas running through my mind. Writing them seemed like a better idea than just forgetting them. And well I’m guessing that’s how my first story came to be.

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work? 

I’m reserving that one to myself. But I can tell you the reason why she is my favorite author… if that works for you? She is amazing. I can start reading her books, and hours later I’m done without notice time passing by. I am a book worm- more of a reader than a writer. If I find a good book, I will get sucked in quickly. But with her books, it’s something else. Everything about her work- maybe the storyline and how great it is- I’m not sure. 
(I know that wasn’t so useful. I usually keep my favorites to myself. I apologize.)

What is your favorite theme/genre to write about?

Werewolves and fantasy are my favorite genres. Werewolves- everything about them sucks me in. I love their customs, the fact that they shift, the pack system, and most of all- having a mate. If I could pick something to write for the rest of my life, it would be about Werewolves. I have endless stories ideas about them. And fantasy- well, I created a species called Legens. I think they’re cool, and for me, they are up there with Werewolves. 

Do you see writing as a career?

I wish, but I really doubt it. I think it would be hard to make is as a writer. But if I could choose my dream job, it would definitely be writing. :D

If you could work with any author, who would it be? 

I would love to work with my favorite author- who is remaining unknown.

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories? 

Most of my characters are based on people I know, my friends, my family, or me. Things that happen in my stories (of course excluding people shifting or sprouting wings) are sometimes from events that happened to me. One good example, which has more to do with my female characters, are the guys surrounding her. I receive plenty of comments telling me that I have guys and hardly any girls. I’m used to hanging out with guys a lot more than girls. They are easier to get along with, which is why my writing is like that as well.

Did you ever think you’d be where you are right now? 

Not really. I am really thankful of where I am. My stories would still be there, but it’s nice to know that people out there like them. I still remember when I had 30 or 40 fans. That was awesome. Then moving up to where I am now, it’s definitely cool. And I’ve made a few friends because of it, so that’s cool too. 

What advice would you give to people who “run out of creativity” when writing?

I would say, let it come to you on its own. Forcing your imagination to come up with things won’t help. Don’t pressure yourself, relax- maybe listen to some music. 

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? 

No, I don’t. I know people don’t believe me when I say it, but it’s true. It’s never happened to me. Heck, the only thing that keeps me from writing every hour for all of my stories is that I have to work or study for school. But whenever I have free time, I get on my laptop and start working on a new chapter, a new story, or something. I haven’t experienced writer’s block and I honestly hope I never do.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

I am weird. I have a psychotic and overly exaggerated obsession with Werewolves. I am a hyper book worm and I spend most of my time in the water- whether pool, beach, or kiddie pool. Although I don’t know how to swim…. But I can float? I love going to the movies. I listen to too much music. My iTouch and my laptop are like a lifeline to me. I love Selena Gomez and Danny Schwarz and Gerard Way… and My Chemical Romance. 

None of that is actually something fun- more fun facts about me than anything else. Well, not exactly fun facts more than just simple facts about me. Again, I’m weird. 

How would you describe yourself?

I’m a genius.
