Dean and Anna have been child-hood best friends since they were little. As they grow older,their friendship blossoms into something much more despite the four-year age gap. What is your name?

Amenah. 

How old are you?

15.

What inspired you to write your first book?

My first book was a scribbling of meaning-less words in a notebook by a toddler. I was so proud of it that I kept it in my pocket and showed it to anyone willing to look (not many). I’m pretty sure unicorns and rainbows inspired me to write that! But if you talk about the first on Wattpad, I’d have to say a scene just popped into my head and BAM!

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

The little girl in me is clinging on to Jacqueline Wilson as her favorite but I'm pretty sure the big-girl in me would not approve. 

She's more into Judith McNaught because she knows the fine line between detail and concise.

 What is your favorite theme/genre to write about?

Romance! And Teen-Fiction! It's amazing how a couple evolve as their story blossoms.

Do you see writing as a career?

I want to but it doesn't seem likely from where I come. Girls here want to be a neurosurgeon and here I am saying Mom! I'm gonna be a writer! And my Mom will be like Sure honey. Now get back to your Biology homework

If you could work with any author who would it be? 

I don't think I'd be that relaxed. I'm a bit of a loner, a bit of a dreamer, a bit crazy. I’m happiest when I'm writing, and most comfortable when I'm alone. But if I HAD to chose, it would be Suzanne Collins. She could add adventure and I could give her a tip or two on romance. Ha!

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

No. They all come from my head.

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

Well I thought I’d get laughed out of Wattpad but so far, no one's come running after me with pitch-forks so I guess I'm safe.

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

Don't sweat it. Happens to the best of us. Just read for a while and don't let anyone pressurize you. Write because YOU want to, when you want to!

Do you ever suffer from writer's block? If so, what do you do about it?

Once so far (I started writing in June). I didn't worry about it. Didn't even think about it. And like how most good ideas come to me, straight out of the blue; this one came as well. 

Do you have any advice for other writers?

If you don't get famous at once, don't beat yourself up about it. Tyra Banks was rejected by 7 agencies before she was signed. She turned out to be one of the best models in history. It doesn't matter if you're not a good writer, or not as good as your friend. As long as you have fun with it never stop!

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

1. I listen to Adele when I write.

2. I'm terrified of dolls and didn't sleep for 3 nights after I watched Child's Play.

3. I hate all sports besides swimming.

4. Kit Kat is my baby hell, No really.

5. I have never failed an English exam.

How would you describe yourself?

Dreamer.
