The Nikki Wolf Chronicles

Six years ago, the Avengers Initiative ended with a huge success and a lot of destroyed buildings. Finally, the eyes of the city that never sleeps start to open, and with its new sight, it wonders, where have the Avengers gone? What are they doing? Have they forgotten their past, like so many other stubborn civilians have? And what, and this really is a rather important question (maybe the most important), will happen when a force even bigger than Loki and his Chitauri army attacks for a new reason? Nikita ("Nikki, please,") Wolf is coincidentally thrown into the mess of things when she learns the truth about her father.

What is your name?

My pen name is Dani Fox.

How old are you?

I am 14 summers.

What inspired you to write your first book?

The movie The Avengers!

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

I don't have a specific favorite author. I do like James Patterson, Veronica Roth, Robert Ludlum, and A. A. Milne :) Plus, many, many more. 

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

I do a lot of original story writing, but lately I've only been writing fan fiction-- that's all I put on Wattpad, as well!

Do you see writing as a career?

It'd be so cool to be an author, but I would definitely keep that as a second job, in case it doesn't work out. I'm pretty optimistic, but I gotta be sensible!

If you could work with any author who would it be?

Oh, that's a hard question for me to answer. Definitely someone who has made a book where it inspires creative things to go through my mind. Authors like Stephenie Meyers (I didn't like Twilight, but I still think she's a good writer, with good ideas), Suzanne Colins, and of course J. K. Rowling!

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

Hmm... Well, my personal characters are almost always inspired by my friend's personalities, and my own. I also had to do some research on Manhattan, to get the park I needed. My next story, I'm going to be doing a lot of research about Budapest, and Russia, and stuff.

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

Speaking strictly about my writing, no, I never thought I would finish a whole entire story! I'm very proud, and I'm glad The Nikki Wolf Chronicles is the first one I've finished, because I put a lot of heart into it, and I think I did pretty well for my very first fan fiction!

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

I don't get writer's block very often anymore. When I get too many ideas, I manage to corporate them into my current story, making a bigger plot and more fun!

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

When I did get writer's block, I would just stop writing and allow life to go on so I can see everything that goes on, and I get inspired. Then, I would hop back to my writing.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

I think people sometimes are too concerned about making the moment perfect while you're writing it. My advice is to spill everything out, and don't be too worried about spelling and grammar. Then, go back and proof read, twice. Once, to add any other details, and the second time to catch the errors.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Fun about me? I'm all kinds of fun. I draw a line at certain things, but I love target shooting. Stuff like guns and archery. I'm also very, very easily entertained. I can stare at a lava lamp for hours, and watch the ocean waves forever.

How would you describe yourself?

I believe I used to be strongly opinionated, but lately I've been broadening my horizon, and I'm much more welcoming than I think I was one or two years ago.
