We go straight to the park near the stadium,  where Alec and I watched the basketball game featuring my school and the Roseland Bears.  I don't know if it's right to be helping him spy on my team when they are actually the best team ever, but he seems very eager to win. So, I'm kind of helping him get informations that he needs for his team.

No, this isn't considered cheating.

Ever since he like playing basketball, and I've always been to his games. Every single one of them. I really admire his passion for his sport and I don't wanna fail on supporting him. And if bringing him to my team's games is one way of doing it, then I'll do it. I don't regret it though.

"Damn, your team is quiet great. I'm starting to be threatened."

I chuckle as I slurp my melting ice cream, leading him on our way further to the park.

"You want to win this season don't you? What could the reason be?"

I look at him playfully and he snickers, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Of course I don't wanna let my boys down. And also you know about the girl I lsom?" he paused looking down to me.

"I'm doing something for her this homecoming right after the game. Wouldn't it be awesome to have it done if we win? I mean, the timing would be perfect." He continues, and I purse my lips as I slowly nods.

I look away, and I payed attention to my ice cream.

His been talking about this girl he likes for a while now. It's been going for a month, and his plans of talking to her finally. She goes at the same school I go, and he seems pretty into her. The way he talks about her, her characteristics, her looks, her personality. And by the looks of it, she's basically perfect. So, I'm kind of disappointed about it.

I know it's pointless to be sad when I don't even know what I feel towards him. But I can't help it.

We've known each other for eternity. His and my parents are the best of friends, and its funny because history repeats itself, and here we are being the best of friends.

Sometimes I get confuse of how he acts around me. Sometimes his extremely over protective like my father, sometimes his playful and teases me like a child, but most of the time and this never fail, his schildand caring like a boyfriend.

Ok there we go, my hopes.

I shake off my thoughts  and I finish my ice cream. I felt him pulls me to put his arms over my shoulder and I suddenly turn pink. I tried to stay calm, and apparently he haven't notice me freak out with a simple typical gesture which reliefs me.

"Get over it."

I murmured but Alec seems to notice because he looks down to me frowning.

"Get over what?" He ask and I shake my head hard as I sheepishly smile.

"Don't worry about it, I'm just...talking to myself."

He narrows his eyes on me, so I convince him by looking at him straight in the eye. He emediately gave in and I sigh a relief.

"You know you're weird, but I like it."
"Great, you love me so much you got use to it."
"That's right," he look at me again "I love you."

Our eyes are like glued to each other when they met them again. I look at his chocolate colored eyes and I sadly smile.

Yes, you do. But only as a friend. He likes someone else.

Yep, I accepted that already. It hurts, but it's better than losing him.

"Jesus, stop being serious, you don't look believable, you look constipated."

I chuckle as I joke and I watch him pouts his lips. I roll my eyes and I continue on walking with him.

While we're walking, there is a little boy run across the street and I watch him. My eyes flew open when I saw a car on its way about to hit the kid. I wasted no time, and I run through the boy to save him.

"Watch out!"

I yelled at him and he froze when he saw the car on its way to hit him. I flew right into him and I grab him out of the way, hugging him. The car stops when it pass us, and I look up to the worried driver.

"Is he ok?"

He yelled and I nod, looking at the scared kid. He began crying and I hug him to calm him which seems to work.

"Alright, you're safe now. Hush now."

The kid rub his tears away and nods and I smile.

"Kevin! Oh, thank you so much! You save his life!" The lady thanks me and I nod to her.

"Don't worry about it. Watch out next time little guy." I say as I play with the boys hand and he smiles on me.

"Clarity!"

I heard Alec called, and I look upon him running towards me. I got surprise when he pull me into a tight hug, hearing his cracking voice out of nervousness.

"Alec. I. Can't. Breathe."

I say bit by bit finding air. The air run back to my lungs when he lets go of me and cupped my face. He look at me worried as he brush his thumbs through my skin.

"Damn it."

He blurted and he crushes his lips against mine.

My entire body froze, and my face got numb.  Even my brain went blank. Only my heart is the thing functioning, and its about to rip my chest out from beating.

He meet my eyes when he pull off and he smiles at me. I don't know what to do, I can't even move a muscle. I was here, extremely flabbergasted.

He likes someone else.

My subsconscious told me and my eyes widen. I push him off me and he look at me furrowing his eyebrows. I took a step back, and another one, and it goes faster until I realize, I was running away from him.

*present*

I sigh as I remember the event, looking at the ceiling. I groan and I roll over my bed, still confused of everything. Then I sit up, looking at my phone as I hesitate to take it.

Damn it!

I grab my phone and I go to my contacts to dial a number. I put my phone to my ear and I waited as it rings.

"Hello?"

I jump up while sitting, letting the air I don't know I was holding.

"Charlie! You need to help me! It's about Alec."

She stay silent for a second but I felt her nod.

"Tell me the details."

I smile and I begin talking.
