Jon's View

I was walking down the floor of the library, getting all the books for the finals next week. I know, me and books? Not really a good match. If it weren't for college and my dream of inheriting my mom's business I wouldn't torture myself like this. I mean don't get me wrong, my grades are average, but I really hate studying. I find it hard.

I was on my way back to Shane and I's table when I noticed him talking to none other than, Luna herself. They look like they're discussing about the book she's holding, and they seem to be having good conversation about it.

It should be interesting.

"Looks like book worms unite again."

I butted in and they both look at me and I gave them a smile. Shane hisses and Luna chuckled a little bit.

"Well, it a pretty great book to be honest." Luna commented, which is very enthusiastic.

"Oh that means boring for me."

Luna scoffs and I chuckled silently, then I sat beside Shane.

"Hey, Luna, I never see you around a lot. What's up?"

I asked her while putting down my books, so I never get so see her reaction.

"Well, being the girls basketball team manager is a pretty handful job. Been busy I guess."

Oh yeah, that's right, she got manager thingy after that injury she suffered last season. Doctors says she can't play ball until next year. Pretty sad new if it we're for me.

"Oh yeah, that's right, you had a bad accident last season. I was also shocked when I heard about the injury. I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it. I just need to wait next year then I can play again."

"Can't wait to see you play. I'll cheer for ya."

I honestly said and she smile, also sort of turn pink a little bit.

She really looks cute when she smile.

"Anyways guys, I need to go. Girls team practice in a few. See you around guys."

"See ya!" I greeted off.

"Bye, Luna." Shane wave off and she finally leaves.

When she's finally gone, Shane look at me differently. Like his trying to read me or what, so I shrug.

"What's up?"

"You seem pretty relax around her.  Last time I saw you saw her you literally had a panic attack. What happened?"

I chuckled, shaking my head a little bit.

"Me and her and the issue are done. It happened long ago so let's say I moved on. I'm fine by being friends with her, so yeah."

"Wow, you've grown up since then. Impressive."

"Pfft, don't mention it. Besides, you have to give me a hand with the Math, cause you know damn well I don't do this shit."

"Ugh, alright, give me that."

He unwillingly said taking my book and I chuckle.

After studying at the library, Shane and I go straight to the gym for the basketball practice. We meet up with the rest of the guys in there and started warming up. Coach Tyson is not around so we have and girl's team coach to handle us while his on his 3 days vacation. Poor man had to get hospitalized because of his high sugar.

We we're doing our laps when Coach Tessa whistles and gather us up, and let us have our break. So, I go to my bag and took my towel and whipe my face clean. I was interrupted when I Dylan taps  me and getured to someone on the bleachers.

"Hey, isn't that Luna?"

I look up and when I recognize her, I just simply nod.

"Yeah, she's probably her because of Coach Tessa. She's practically her assistant."

"Does she get payed by that?"

I shrug, honestly having no idea.

"I don't know, probably? I'm just glad she's here to watch us too."

Dylan knitted his eyebrows on me.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"Nothing."

He just skeptically look at me and I ignored him, fixing my shoe lace.

Coach Tessa whistle again, signals us to do a quick game, and we all did, and she simply sits there spectating, so as Luna on high bleachers putting down notes. We we're half way done with the game when I notice Luna stand up and walk down off the bleachers still putting down notes on her check pad.

"Luna!"

I yelled when she accidentally trip herself with own foot  and about to fall down, I was luckily near her to catch her before she feel down 2 feet from the ground. I was able to blocked her from her back, but the impact is so hard I got knocked on the ground.

"Ahh!" I groan when I also hit my head. She immediately get off on top of me and immediately grab my head to lay on her lap.

"Are you ok?"

She ask, very worried and I shortly smiled at her to respond. I was about to stand up, but when I tried to lean my weight into my hand to the ground, I felt a lot of pain from my wrist.

"Yo, Jon, are you alright?"

Shane ask running towards me, and I also saw the rest of the team and Coach Tessa walking their way to our direction. Shane kneel down and check my hand.

"Your wrist is jammed. You sure you're fine?"

"Yeah, its probably from the impact, I must've hurt my right wrist really bad."

"I'm so sorry, Jonathan, its my fault. I was so clumsy, not looking yo where I'm going."

I shake my head, and I sit up, with her help of course and I look into her eyes starting to tear up. I whipe her tear away when it finally falls down her cheek and smiled.

"It's ok. Don't be sorry, it's an accident. Your safe now, its all that matters."

I smiled once more and after I said that, she started bursting into tears.
