Jon's View
I am at a amusement park waiting for Heaven to arrive. We are going on a date, thinking that she's coming with Shane. Charlie ask her on my behalf, luckily it worked, now all I have to do is spend time with her and confess.
Also to make myself believable, I stole some of Shane's clothes from his room. She's never gonna notice the difference. Shane and I are very identical, its like looking at a mirror.
"Here she comes."
I said looking at Heaven who's waving at me not that far. I smile and wave back at her, I saw her laugh before she walk over to me.
"You're friend told me you'd be here."
"Of course, where would I be?"
"I just don't think you'll be here."
She said tucking her hair behind her ears, blushing.
Wow, he really likes my brother.
I cleared my throat and I put act on.
"Well, I'm here. By the way, you look beautiful. I like it."
"Is it interesting too?"
I frown cofused, but I kept it in and nod my head.
"Sure, I guess."
She looks at me for a second, I suddenly get weirded out. I don't want her to notice so, I just wasted no time and her the next question.
"Let's go? We have a lot of things to do."
She shakes her head slightly, then nod at me.
"Okay."
I smile, starting to walk around the park to begin. First thing we do is we ride the extreme rides, then the water rides. After all rides we have she really look scared. I think she just got surprise by the attractions. Most girls is really afraid of rides in an amusement park, so thats understandable.
She talks minimal, weirdly. She looks like she's talkative when she's with Shane. Maybe she's just shy because its just the two of us. I caught her once looking at me for long, so I'd just smile and talk my way out of the awkward staring contest that I was never aware of.
We finish most of the attractions at the park, we pretty much enjoyed everything. She seems interested, and suddenly talk non stop, smiling up top halfway through the date. I guess she just needed a time to warm up. After this is their first date.
Once our stomach is aching, we headed to the nearest shop, which in this case Omel's.
"Come in."
I say opening the door for her, and she smiles at me. Once we got in we saw Romel, and he frowns when he saw me, then he suddenly smirk for some reason. He greeted me with a nod, and I nod back to him. I lean closer to Heaven's ears, and open my mouth to talk.
"He's my friend, he owns this place."
She nods at Romel too then we sit down to the table near the window. Romel follow us to our seat, pulling out a pad and a pen to write down our orders.
"What are you guys having?"
He ask, getting ready to put down orders.
"Um, I'll have a classic four layered banana pancake with chocolate toppings. Thanks."
"Beautiful, you?" He ask looking at me.
"The usual, extra syrup."
"Right away." He said before leaving.
After sometime our orders finally came in. I started pouring extra syrup to my raspberry waffles, I was about eat when I notice Heaven looking at me in a weird way.
"What? Is something wrong?"
"You're eating that?"
"Yeah, this is my favourite. Raspberry waffles."
She smirk which makes me confused.
"But you're allergic to raspberries."
I am dumbfounded. I totally messed up. I let my guard down. I should've remember that Romel is the one of the few people who can identify the difference between Shane and I. And by that when I mentioned my order he already know what to give me. That's why he's smirking before. And she notice.
I screw things up.
I put down my knife and fork, looking straight at her. She is just staring at me with a smile, while I'm here feeling embarrassed.
"When did you find out."
"At the park."
I frown.
"How?"
"Well, I told Shane I'm acrophobic. I wasn't just simply scared, I'm terrified. I fear heights. Also, you talk and move differently. And you're eating raspberry."
"And you still get on with it, why?"
"Because I thought its interesting. I wanna see how long you can go."
She narrow her eyes on me, nad I just look at her with dismay.
"Why are you doing this?"
I sigh, leaning back.
"Because you're leaving. You see, my brother likes you, he just can't tell you. He always got scared and nervous that's why I pretended thinking that I can confess to you in his behalf."
She blushes, and smiles wide but that immediately fade away.
"That's sweet, but I'm leaving tonight."
"What? I thought its tomorrow?"
"Well, changes of plans. They move the flight and just told me this morning and I couldn't say no, so we have to leave tonight."
I didn't say anything. I know she wasn't gonna tell her feelings to Shane so whats the point? Its just frustrating, because I really wanna help Shane. I wanna make things right. But I guess I couldn't.
"You're brother was right." She started, "you will actually do everything for him."
I look at her confused, and she smirk then put her hands over mine.
"Your brother talk about you all the time. Like everytime, yoy are always our topic. And he looks happy telling stories about you two, especially the ones with your childhood. That you we're this amazing and that great."
"He did?"
She nods, and squeezes my hand a little.
"He acts cold and all towards you but it doesn't mean he doesn't care. He's just, he doesn't know how to approach you. But he cares about you too."
I stay silent. Completely flabbergasted by the things she just explain. Feeling more guilty than before.
He actually cares.
"I have to leave now. I have to catch my flight. Thanks for today."
She smile once more and stand up to leave the place and I just stayed there. Anger and frustration burst inside me. Annoyed at myself, I sprinted out of the diner and immediately start my cars engine soon as I entered, and drive as fast as I can back home.
I'm not letting him do nothing about this now.
