Dylan's View

"So? Are you telling me the story?"

Charlie says as she plays with my fingers. I smirk, finding her being nosy adorable.

"You wanna do a story time?"

She nods.

"I wonder what happened?"

"Alright, I'll tell you." I gave in, and seat before her.

"Ever since Jonathan is the confident one. Its no doubt, its like his born with shit ton of confidence in his blood. While Shane didn't really like hanging out with anyone besides his brother and other two friends. But despite each differences, the twins are unbreakable. They're like partners, the dynamic duo. It was like that, until Luna entered they're life."

She frowns. "Who's she?"

"Oh she's the reason why the twins ain't that cool as before."

"What?"

"I remember we we're juniors when that happened. You see, by that time Jon haven't dyed his hair yet so they look extremely similar. Luna, aside of being pretty, she's cool, friendly and a good person to converse with. Shane didn't really care about her, she's just a classmate to him, you know normal dimwit, while Jon have caught feelings for her. Luna was the captain of girls basketball team, so they often meet each other. Yeah they converse a lot, they seem really close back then, lile they are unseperable. But here's the thing, Luna, she likes Jon back, she originally planned to confess to Jon, but she got cold feet and pretended that she didn't know she was talking to Jon, when she is one of those few people who knows how to identify who is who, and that really messed up eveything between Shane and Jon."

"Hold up, what?"

She ask, her eyes widen and I just nod in response.

"Yeah, its really unfortunate. Jon was really devastated, but thats not how they turned out to be how they are right now. It happened to Jon multiple times, he kept on being mistaken as Shane so he grew insecure and gotten cold towards his twin. So he decided to dye his hair. Obviously, they never really made up. They just got use to how they are right now, and it continues to be like that for years."

Charlie continue frowning, and I just sigh feeling unfornate as to what happened to the twins.

"I know, its an awful story."

I said, pulling her between my legs, her facing me backwards. I rest my head over her shoulder, embracing her tight.

"That's sad."

I nod in reply, pressing my face on her neck.

"Do you think Jon can convince Heaven to stay?"

"I hope. I mean I just helped Jon with the outfit, but hopefully. I wanna see Shane happy for once."

She lets out a huge sigh, and I remain silent. Thinking of possibilities.

I loud thud from downstairs interrupted my  thoughts. Charlie gave me a look of curiosity, so I stand up going downstairs while she follows. It was Jon, looking exactly like Shane from head to toe, and I looked at Alec looking flabbergasted over the sofa.

"Where is Shane?"

He ask, anger is visible from his voice as he scan the room. Seconds later, Shane show up from the kitchen, he look at his twin surprised, but what surprised him most is when Jon storm towards him, grabbing him by his shirt hitting him hard on the face.

Alec and I rush to stop as soon as Shane got hit, I pulling Jon away from his brother while Alec blocks Shane.

"The fuck is your problem?!"

Shane exclaimed whipping the blood off his lower lip as it receive a cut from the attack.

"You are the problem! Why the fuck are you still here for when the girl that you like is leaving, and possibly never coming back?!"

"What?"

"Dude, she's leaving tonight! And I can't bare seeing my brother letting go of a woman he likes because he didn't try to tell her what he feels."

Alec and I looked at each other, while I grow confuse with the situation. Jon get my hand off him and walks towards Shane, holding him by the shoulder, looking into his eyes.

"Its my fault, I'm sorry. Heaven told me everything I wanted to hear from you since things happened between us. She told me you'd still talk about me and the shit I do, and I appreciate it. Dude, let's go back to way we we're, I'm begging you!"

Shane didn't speak from a moment there. He was just looking at his twin, while the rest of us waits for what'll going to happened next.

"You're wrong, it wasn't your fault. It was mine. I grew insecure, I got scared, you see you will always have my back and instead of accepting whatever happeneds, I remain cold even colder when you change your appearance just so everybody would identify us. I hated myself more because instead of getting through it with you I acted childish and blame you for everything. So no, its not your fault! It was mine!"

Both of them hidden feelings towards one another burst at that moment. Nobody dares to speak, Charlie, Alec and I remain still, as we watch the twins reconcile.

At last, these idiots reunite.

"Ehem," Charlie clears her throat, getting everybody's attention.

"Can we all do this later? We have some girl to chase."

She pointed out, indicating the time on her wrist watch. It is a few minutes left before Heaven boards. Jon pull out his keys, and gives it to Shane.

"Go catch 'em, brother."

Shane smiled and started running towards the door, and all of us heard him leaving.
