Tiana"What the hell are you doing here?" Tristan, hissed at me.
His gaze was cold, and lifeless as he stared at me. I fisted my hands at my side, the image of that brunette flashed inside of my head. Why did I even come here tonight? I shook my head, my hair whips to the side. I was stupid. It's only been three days and yet, he has already moved on. My hold tightens on my elbow. I could feel the bile, rising in my throat. I felt sick.
"I invited her." Martha said, wrapping her arms around my shoulder. My body felt heavy. "I hope you don't mind."
Tristan pursed, his lips. "Of course not, it's your place not mine." He said, curtly.
"You both need to hash this out, and stop acting like immature brats."
"Hash what out? She was the one who left, not me!"
"You were the one, who said you needed space." I intercept.
His eyes, blazed with rage.
"I'm sorry if I didn't quite grasp that understanding, usually "I need some space", means I want to end things with you, get the fuck out of my house. So sorry your royal highness. I'm too dunce, to understand certain things you need to explain first."Tristan grits his teeth. "You could have at least waited until I got back! I came home to an empty house!" His voice, broke at the ending of that sentence.
My heart aches, all I wanted was for things to go back to normal.
"Let's just calm down, we are all adults here." Martha said. Always the peace maker.
"I am calm!"
"No you're not Tristan, you're hurt. So let's take a breather, if you guys don't, you might say something you both will regret."
Tristan snorted a laugh. "There's nothing to hash out. What Tiana and I had was fleeting, now it's over."
Martha gasped. "You don't mean that."
He made sure, to look me in the eye, when he responded. "I do mean it. Now get the hell out of my life and don't come back."
My chest suddenly felt tight. The tears that, I've been holding back for days. Started to flow freely. Our relationship was beyond, fixing. There was nothing, I could do to mend what is broken.
"Tristan...." Martha said, sadly.
He continued looking at me, with determination.I smiled, sadly through the tears. Martha, pulled her arm away, I grabbed my purse from the table. I was aware of the stares everyone was giving me. I deserved it all, after all I was the evil villain in the story.
My mother's voice rang inside my head. "You're nothing but a fuck up."
She was right. I was nothing. I always end up creating havoc wherever I go. I tugged my coat, closer to my body.
"I... just, before I go... I wanted to....." I trailed off, the words were stuck in my throat.
My eyes widen in shock, when I realized what was about to happen. Everyone was so focused, on Tristan's and mine argument, they didn't even noticed the man standing in black at the buffet table. His gloved fingers, were wrapped around a black pistol. My legs quakes. Of course, he wasn't lying, when he said he was going to kill Tristan.
As much as I was heartbroken, I couldn't allow him to take away the love of my life. I couldn't even scream, to alert someone, because my voice was suddenly not working. I did the only thing, I could do in that moment. I jumped in front of Tristan.
I heard when the shots, rang out. The next think I knew, the bullets pierced my body, one at a time. My head thrust back, and a yelp escaped my lips.
I heard someone scream, but it was distant. My body collided into Tristan, his eyes widens in shock. My body felt like lead, his arms wrapped around my middle.
He was suddenly shouting at someone, his eyes were glossy.
Why is he crying?
It was better this way, a disgusting creature like me, shouldn't be causing him so much pain.
He pats my cheek. "Tiana, come on stay with me...." He pleaded.
Don't look so crestfallen. My eyes drooped.
"Goddammit! Stay with me! The ambulance is on its way."
I wrapped my arms, around my lower abdomen. I couldn't even protect her. I didn't even get to tell, him the truth. I'm so sorry... I'm so fucking sorry. Tears trailed, out of the corner of my eyes.
His tears splattered on my cheeks. "Why the fuck did you do that?" He demanded, in a broken voice.
I lift my hand. I tried to touch his cheek, but, it was painful and I was weak and worn out. I knew I was dying.
"Baby stay with me." He said, as my hands fell limp at my side.
I stared at his face. He turned his head to the other person, who was looming over me. I didn't hear what he was saying, because I was slowly losing consciousness. My eyes closed.
Tristan pats my cheek, once again and I opened my eyes even though my lids were so heavy.
"Tiana please, stay with me." He begged, sobbing.
"Tristan...." I said gasping for air.
".... I'm right here baby." He said.
My lips twitched. ".... I..... finally did..... good..... didn't I?"
His lips trembled, as tears ran down his cheek.
"I just want you t... to know that.... I.... I..... l...love you." I slurred.
My eyes drifted close again, he started shaking me. "Stay with me Tiana! You fucking promised! You promised! You said, you wouldn't leave me! Please.... please stay with me!" He pleaded.
Shouldn't you be rejoicing?
Chill ran through my body and I shivered. I already knew I was gonna die. I was losing too much blood."Tiana! Don't you dare die on me!" He said, shaking me harder.
I smiled, I opened my eyes one last time. Staring at his handsome features. His eyes were red and puffy, tears leaked down his cheeks. I'm sorry Tristan..... it hurts too much. I'm sorry.
Our story has really ended.....
My eyes closed for the last time. The darkness was what greeted me, this time around.*sigh* hope it was alright. :(
