Cathy
One week later
Walking into the apartment, I once shared with Tiana, was like stepping through the gates of hell. The place that once felt like home to me, was now chilly. Shrugging off my jacket, I threw it across the back of the brown, worn out couch.
As I stood there in the hallway, I had no idea whatsoever, what to do with myself. Usually whenever I came home, Tiana would be on the couch reading a book or she would be in the kitchen, trying out a new recipe. But now, she wasn't here. All her stuff was gone, there was nothing indicating that she once lived here.
My heart became heavy at that thought. Taking a deep breath, I shuffled down the hall towards her bedroom. The door was slightly ajar. Pushing it open, I stepped inside. A lump formed in my throat. Her room, was also stripped bare.
I did pack a couple of her things, but not all of them. I was hoping that she would come to her senses, but it doesn't look like that will be possible.
Taking a seat on the edge of the bed. I picked up the picture frame off, the bedside table. My fingers, caressed the picture. I never expected things, to end like this. Tiana was the first girl, I've ever felt this connection with.
She was the only one who truly understood me... and to have that abomination rip her from my arms, was much too painful for me. None of this wouldn't have happened, if I hadn't brought up that stupid conversation of having her meet my parents. If only I had known, I wouldn't have.... let her out of my sight.
I hugged the picture to my chest. I couldn't allow this, to end like this. I had to do something. If i don't do something, I might end up losing Tiana for good. I didn't want that to happen. Besides Tiana belongs to me and only me.
By hook or by crook, I will have her back home where she rightfully belongs.
Brushing my tears away, I whipped my phone out of my pocket.I unlock the screen, pressing number one. The number I haven't called, in a while popped up on my screen. Placing the phone at my ears, I took a deep breath.
The person answered immediately. "Catherine."
Tears started to pour down my cheeks, at the sound of his voice. I know this was wrong, but I had to do it. I had to get Tiana back, no matter what.
".... I-I need you, Elliott."
