Olivia

It was Jay.

"Not to disturb or anything, but you all came here for a reason. Would you mind coming to the living room?" He raised his eyebrows, sounding like a flight attendant.

Chaz rolled his eyes and took my hand, shooting me his famous smirk before he intertwined our fingers. I bit my lips to contain my smile. This wasn't the first time we held hands, since we did it a lot indirectly in football practice. He also once held my hand to calm me down. This was the first time we interwinded fingers though.

He started walking and I snapped out of my thoughts quickly, following him.

When we got back to the living room, Dan was back with pizza. Chaz slumped on the two-seat sofa and I fell next to him.

"Alright." Jay slapped Dan's hand to stop him from opening the box.

"We're going to Hawaii!" Taylor squealed.

"That's not how we were going to announce it." Jay face-palmed himself. I was confused.

"That's cool." I smiled. I was going to miss Taylor though.

"Is that some type of honeymoon?" Dan sat on one of the arm chairs.

"No. You're all coming too." Jay rolled his eyes and my mouth slightly fell open.

"Us? Why?!" I asked quickly.

"It'll be so much fun. We got 7 tickets. We have an extra seat." Taylor smiled. "I'll help you convince your parents, Oli. No worries. Just so you know."

"I'm confused." I blinked twice to try to process everything. "Hawaii? That's thousands of miles away."

"It'll be cool. Don't forget that you're 18 now." She shot finger guns at me.

"So.. I'm basically coming, right Chaz?" Brittney raised her eyebrows.

When he didn't reply, she folded her arms and he groaned. "Yes, fuck yes. You're coming."

I looked at Chaz quickly with a face full of questions. He shook his head slowly and turned back to Jay and Taylor. Why was he bringing her to a vacation with the squad? Even though I probably wouldn't go, it would be irritating.

We then had pizza and everyone started to leave by 3. I slid in Taylor's car and buckled my seatbelt. My license was still not out, so I still had to take rides with people.

"My parents will so not allow me to go to Hawaii. That's crazy, Tay." I said.

"I'm sure they will if you tell them that it'll be a hangout with your friends."

"They will kill me if they know that I want to travel with a group with 3 guys in it." I hissed.

"You don't have to mention everyone." She shrugged and I sighed. I really wanted to go.

When she dropped me off, I gave her a quick bro hug and walked towards my house. My mom opened the door and let me in.

"We have bad news." Mom sighed when I slumped in one of the kitchen chairs.

"Bad news?" I repeated. Oh no.

"There is another business meeting in San Francisco." She sighed wistfully, and I bit my lips to contain my smile. I had to be sad about that, and I felt bad about feeling happy if you get what I meant.

"Oh, that sucks." I shrugged apathetically.

"Will you be able to stay home alone for 2 weeks again?" Her brown eyes were tired and disappointed.
