This week was surprisingly going quickly. I spent most of it studying and hanging out with Taylor, Dani and Vicki.
I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm. It was Wednesday. The day of the big game. Jay told me it was the final match. If I knew that sooner I wouldn't have disturbed the team a few days ago at Jay's. Apparently our school team won all the matches thrown in their way, and today was the final one. If they win, they get the cup, and if they lose, Chaz will for sure blame it on me for 'wasting their time' a few days ago.
I snoozed my alarm one last time. It read 6:32 am.
Today was going to be a half-day since the match was at the end of the school hours and many people were going to go watch, Including me. In other matches, only the team and coach were allowed to go but since it was the finals this time, everyone could tag along.
After my alarm rang for the third time I stopped it and got up, heading to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, took a quick shower then slid into a blue jersey, matching the team's uniform. I was for sure rooting for them, not because Chaz and Matt were in the team, but because it was my school team, or that's what I thought.
I matched the jersey with a pair of white shorts and blue trainers then texted Taylor to pick me up.

"Jay will be there." Taylor smiled.
"You still didn't tell me about your kiss with him." I glanced at her. "How did it happen?"
She sighed. "That.. I don't know."
"He was talking about how Kendall cheated on him and that I was helping him and everything.. then It happened." She added.
"Why did she even cheat on him? He seems great"
"I don't know, she's stupid. She cheated on him with Matt."
"Matt?" I spit some of my coffee and Taylor glared at me. "Sorry.." I mouthed.
"Yeah, Matt the rat." She said and I chuckled. "I don't know why you're going on that date with him."
"I didn't know that he screwed his friend's girlfriend.. but wow.." I said. "If I don't go with him, I'll lose my mind. Chaz is slowly invading all of my brain cells."
"Are you like.. using him?"
"No.. I'm not.. don't know! He seems nice.. I feel like he's a great guy inside."
"Well, good luck. we're here." She stopped the car and took out the key.
When we got out, we found the team approaching, jogging in a line.
"What are they doing?" I asked.
"Warming up or something.. They have to go three times around the school."
"That sounds like hell!" I looked at them once more. They all looked so good and athletic. My eyes scanned all of their faces until it landed on Matt. I smiled at him. A smile appeared on the corners of his lips as he waved at me. He looked cute.
Then my eyes fell on Chaz. His dark brown hair was covering his forehead and sweat was dripping from his neck. No lies, He looked- shut up. His tanned skin was glowing in the light and his muscles rippled as he jogged. His bright eyes landed on me and I was so close to getting a cardiac arrest. How can he look this good? What is the rate of having such a complexion? Tanned skin, Dark brown hair, blue eyes, full lips, long, dark lashes and such a sharp jawline. He winked at me when he noticed that I was staring at him and I glared back at him.
