OliviaBy the time Chaz pulled over by the party, we were both silent. I was anxious about what they would think of me, and Chaz was anxious about seeing his mom.
We got out of the Jeep to be greeted with a beautiful, remarkable beach house. Our villa was a piece of wood compared to this masterpiece. It looked expensive and rich was written all over it.
"Have you been here before?" I glanced at Chaz and he shook his head.
"No. They rent houses wherever they go." He sighed.
"Don't be nervous." I placed a hand on his cheek and his blue eyes met mines.
"Yeah." He flashed an adorable smile before we started walking.
The door was open and music was streaming from the inside. Purple and pink decorations covered the door and a hint of numerous fairy lights was shown from a distance.
Chaz immediately pushed the door and got in, taking my hand and pulling me inside too.
"Aren't we supposed to knock?" I hissed.
"No." He chuckled softly and looked around. Many people filled the house. I didn't even get a chance to breathe. Adults were concentrated by the right side, and the left continued with the purple theme.
"Guess it's there." Chaz muttered and started walking again. I scanned the house with wide eyes. I thought my parents were rich, but this was a whole new level.
My neck snapped to the front when Chaz stopped walking. A loveable, adorable girl with big blue eyes and deep dimples stood infront of Chaz. I knew that it was Angela right away.
She bit her lips in excitement when Chaz keeled known to her height and pulled her in a big hug. They looked so cute that I was going to start tearing up.
When they pulled away, she started to silently cry.
"Don't cry, Anges." Chaz cupped her face. "I'm here."
That's when I started to tear up too. I didn't know why she was sad, but that was touching. When she stopped crying Chaz got up, glancing at me.
"Anges, this is Ollie. Ollie, this is Angela." He managed to smile.
"Hello, I'm Olivia." I smiled at her.
"You have pretty eyes." She said in an extremely adorable voice. I wanted to squish her in a bear hug.
"Aw, thank you. You have beautiful eyes too." I couldn't smile any wider. I glanced at Chaz, who was smirking at the both of us.
"Happy birthday, Angela." I smiled at her, handing her the gift bag in my hand I got yesterday. I got her a musical book and many piano note guides with a purple jacket, since according to Chaz, it was her favorite color.
She grinned excitedly and peeked in the bag. "Mommy tells me not to open the gifts now, so I'll open it later." She mumbled.
"I hope you like it." I said.
"Where's mom, by the way?" Chaz asked anxiously.
"She went up with Aunt Karen, the one with the grandpa hair." She giggled and Chaz laughed, throwing his head backwards.
"Grandpa hair?" I raised my eyebrows, joining their laughing choir.
"Aunt Karen has hair like a grandpa." Angela whispered. "Don't tell her I said that."
"Okay." I laughed.
"I have a question." She asked slowly.
"Yeah, sure, what is it?"
