I went downstairs, alone. Still looking for Taylor. Chaz left the room the second he put his shirt on. How can he be so amazing then asshole-ish this quickly?!
I looked around, his house was pretty crowded now. So I thought of going outside to get some air. I got lost for a few seconds but then saw the door from a distance.
When I got to the door, I saw Taylor talking to that guy that we saw in the kitchen. I was so relieved. I guessed his name was Jay, since I heard Chaz call him that. They were both drinking what seemed like a slush and they looked amused.
"Taylor!" I ran up to them.
"So you're Taylor?" The guy smiled while sipping his drink.
"Why did you call me by my name! I wanted him to guess." Taylor whined.
"Where were you?!" I asked.
"With him, this is Jay, he's pretty cool but depressed." Taylor smiled.
"I'm not depressed??" He almost choked on his drink.
"His girlfriend left him." Taylor said in a low tone.
"Im still here." He seemed annoyed.
"No, no need to worry, this is Olivia, she's pretty trusted and great." Taylor said, patting me on the back.
"Hm, hi." I smiled.
"Hey." Jay stretched his hand for a handshake.
We got along quickly, and Jay really was a cool guy. It was only the three of us in the hall now, just talking.
The doorbell rang, and Chaz swiftly appeared and went to open the door.
The moment he opened it, a beautiful girl came in, and screamed then hugged him tight.
She whispered something in his ear then held her arms around his neck tighter. He hugged her back. They seemed.. close.. I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. I didn't want to feel this way, but I really liked Chaz.
Taylor noticed my reaction, so she patted my back. Jay seemed to notice too.
"They're just friends." Jay said after she took Chaz's arm and went to the living room.
"Why- why are you telling me this?" I said, feeling relieved, not knowing that my voice became shaky and low.
"I saw the way you looked at him ever since I saw you in the kitchen." Jay smiled.
"That's Brittney, the daughter of a close family. She's just obssessed with Chaz. Didn't you see how uncomfortable Chaz looked like when she held him?" He added.
"I don't care." I still tried to deny the fact that I was interested in Chaz.
"Listen 'Livia, you seem great, and Chaz is my cousin. He's pretty complicated, but just try."
Taylor looked at me and winked, and I coudn't help but only smile.

I watched the second half of the match with Jay and Taylor in a different room. I could hear all the screaming and cheers from across the hall. This was honestly a great hangout. I got to meet Jay, Taylor got to meet Jay and I had a few minutes of alone time with Chaz. The match ended up with a draw, and I didn't care that much since I had fun.
We went outside and hung out in the garden a bit.
"The weather is amazing." Taylor grinned.
"Yeah." Jay sighed.
