I quickly walked towards the mirror in the office and stared at my reflection. He really did create a hickey on my neck. I rubbed it slowly, with wide eyes, then turned to look at Chaz with a glare. He was grinning at me.
"Seriously?" I raised my eyebrows, pointing to my neck.
"Come on, tell me you didn't like it." He raised his eyebrows too and rested back on the office chair. He had a dangerous smirk plastered on his face as he leaned on the arm of the chair while biting his thumb's nail. My cheeks flushed. I enjoyed it a bit too much.
When I didn't reply, he grinned and watched me as my cheeks became redder after every heartbeat.
"We should really stop this." I sighed, and he nodded at me slowly, not erasing his grin.
"The only reason I'm holding back from.. kissing you, is Matt. I need to stay loyal to Matt." I huffed.
"You're not staying loyal to Matt, by the way." Chaz raised his eyebrows.
"I know! Gosh. And that's because of you!"
"Matt is a player anyways. He doesn't even date. He's using you." Chaz glanced at me. "Matt shouldn't be the only reason you want to get away from me."
"I don't think so." I murmured.
"He's done this so many times before. He's a cheater, born to be a player. You never know who he has slept with since you've started dating." He shrugged and my heart fell to the floor. I wistfully looked away.
"Why should I believe you?" I shot back.
"Why should I lie to you?" He looked at me, sitting straight on the chair.
"Whatever."
"After we're done with this project and everything, we should stay away from each other." He said coldly and I almost shivered.
"Why is that?" I looked at him quickly in shock.
"Don't you know, I'm no good for you?" His cold stare pierced through me.
"How are you no good to me! If Matt wasn't in the picture-"
"It's not about Matt. I'm just too messed up and I don't need more things to worry about."
"I'm not asking you to worry about me." I gritted my teeth.
"You're not asking me to, but I will anyway." He looked back at the screen.
"Did you really have to create me a hickey if you were going to leave it there and go away?!"
"Last time I checked, that was a personal problem."
"You're unbelievable. I swear to god."
He didn't bother to reply and stayed focused on the screen. I huffed and slumped on the floor. We worked for a about an hour, not talking much.
When we were done. He walked me to the door and I then took a cab and got home. I couldn't believe that he made me a hickey, pecked my lips more than once and ended up telling me that he's no good for me. He is so complicated.

We eventually presented the presentation in front of class, and ended up having the best one so far. I knew that Mr Josephs was going to give us an A+ blindfolded with how impressed he looked like. Chaz would be the best presentation partner ever if he stopped being annoying and arguing about anything you say, but we ended up dividing the work and the outcome was amazing.
