After a mission gone wrong, [Y/N] Shirogane is left stranded on earth. And though thousands of people pass her each day through the halls of The Garrison Academy, trapped in her mind, [Y/N] is completely and utterly alone.
But be it after one fatef...
After failing the simulation, once again, because of Lance and Hunk you were, once again, scolded by Iverson. Pidge yelled at Iverson, when he started to talk badly about the Kerberos mission team. Just one more reason to think Pidge is Katie. Lance covered for him though, so he didn't get in trouble. Iverson told the team that we "don't work well together" and we "argue too much".
You've grown to be pretty close friends with your group. Sure they were annoying at times (literally just Lance) but, at least you had people to sit with at lunch, or to talk to after class. You learned Pidge was in a few of your classes, and you two studied together often. The way he?... she?... they talked, you felt like it had to be Katie, but you were too scared to ask.
After you 4 were done getting yelled at Pidge apparently went to his?... her?... their?... dorm. As you were walking to yours, thinking of how on Earth you were going to find out if Pidge was the Pidge you knew, your friend. You haven't talked to her much since Kerberos. You felt horrible since her brother and father also went missing, but bringing up the past just made you want to lock yourself in your room. You couldn't bring yourself to. Which she hadn't made an effort to reach out to you, so in a way it was kind of mutual. You comforted each other at first over the phone, but she started calling less, then you had start at the Garrison. She hadn't texted, called, or anything, so you figured she was mad at you.
You started to remember, when you would hang out with her and Matt when you were little, when sometimes you'd spend the night, and stay up with Pidge all night. You remembered how you always felt different around Pidge, safe. It was a different feeling than when you would hang out with your other old friends. How she was always full of energy, and was like a bright Ray of sunshine. How you wished you could be together every second of every day. How, if someone even said anything offensive to her you'd literally kill them. You had feelings for her, but you tried to deny it. You hated that you liked her so much, but you couldn't help it.
Once you've reached your room, sighing, you lay across your bed. "I wish Keith weren't expelled." You thought, "He'd know what to do."
*Keith, on the other hand, was your "friend". He was the only one you really talked to other than Katie and Matt, when you were younger. He was friends with Shiro. Shiro had basically taken Keith in. You lived with Shiro once he'd moved out, given that your parents were elderly, and living with your brother would be cool, you thought you'd have more freedom. You were wrong. He acted like he was your Dad, and you still had rules and a curfew. His boyfriend came over alot though, and they rented a new movie almost every weekend, so that was cool. You stayed, even though he was annoying sometimes.
Keith stayed at Shiro's a lot. He didn't have a family, he was kicked out of the Garrison, and didn't really have anywhere to go, so Shiro basically took him in, since they were friends. Keith was a couple years older than you. About a year after Keith had started coming over a lot, you two started dating. You loved him, and thought you loved him like a girlfriend loves a boyfriend. He started becoming more distant, and acting more like his emo self. But you eventually realized you loved him like a brother. After some time you had broken up with him, but it didn't go well. He stopped coming over. He basically disappeared. You were extremely devastated, and spent days locking yourself in your room and crying only leaving sometimes to get food and stuff. After Shiro eventually convinced you to come out of your room, and explain what was wrong, you told him. Shiro comforted you, and told you that it wasn't your fault, but you didn't believe him.
You still loved Keith, and you missed him, but not in the way you loved Katie.*
*Knock*
You heard a knock on you door making you snap out of your thoughts.
"Who is it?" You call out, wiping away a tear from your face.
"Uh it's Lance and Hunk..." Lance calls.
"Oh, hold on!" You dash to the mirror to examine yourself. Your eyes are red and puffy from crying, and you have thick bags under your eyes.
"Give me a second!" You yell.
You quickly wash your face, and after quickly brushing your [H/L] hair, you throw on your regular clothes.

You open the door, and exit the room.
"What's up?" You ask.
"Iverson said we need to bond as a team right?" Lance asks.
"Uh, yeah. Why?" You ask, looking skeptical.
"Well, we're sneaking out for a while tonight." He says. You give a concerned look. "Don't worry, we'll be back before they even notice!" He states, confidently.
"Sure..." You reply.
Lance grabs your hand, and pulls you through the hallway, sneaking past guards. You get to Pidge's dorm, and you start to feel butterflies in your stomach.
Pidge walks out of the dorm, not noticing you guys, and sneaks down the hallway.
"Where on Earth does he think he's going?" Lance asks.
You follow Pidge and see that Pidge has setup some kind of equipment, and is listening to something through headphones. Lance decides it would be a good idea to go up to Pidge and scare him/her... Pidge freaks out, yelling at Lance and Hunk.
Pidge then goes on to explain what he's doing, he/she starts talking about the equipment, how he built it, and how he's hacked into some radio waves, and the only word he can hear over, and over is "Voltron".
Hunk keeps annoying him. Trying to touch the equipment. So does Lance, he keeps asking why Pidge gets so triggered whenever Kerberos is brought up. "Yep, that's definitely Katie." You think.
The Garrison then announces a lockdown over the intercom. You start to silently freak out. You notice something falling from space.
"Is that a meteor?" Hunk asks. "A very big meteor.
Pidge looks through a pair of binoculars. "No, It's a ship!"
You take turns looking through the binoculars, amazed at the sight, but also terrified, you alternate glances. Looking at the ship one second, then quickly glancing at Pidge.
"We have to go see that ship!" Pidge says, daringly.
Lance and Hunk follow. You're hesitant at first, but decide to give into your curiosity, and follow. Pidge hacks into the security camera's feed and you see something you thought you'd never see, your brother, strapped to a metal table in a lab, while a group of scientist are trying to examine him.
"Shiro!" You gasp. Lance, Hunk, and Pidge look directly to you.
"You know him?" Lance asks.
"He's my brother!" You say, shocked.
"No way, he's my idol! I should have known! You have the same last name! I'm an idiot." He exclaims.
