Your POV

I awaken suddenly, with a piercing scream.

"Where am I?!" I think.

I'm certainly not in space. I appear to be in some kind of hospital. I look at the poster at the wall, and squint my eyes to see. The logo. Galaxy Garrison.

What?! How?!
A nurse walks in, I guess she heard me scream. She notices I'm awake and gives me some medicine to take. I do so, and then turn to her.

"W- Where am- How did-" I start to ramble. She calls in another nurse.

"Dial her guardian on the phone." She says to the other.

Guardian?

After a strange phone call they both check my heart rate and everything, and exit the room. I notice I'm in several casts. What happened?

About ten minutes later, the door opens. The person who opens the door is not at all who I expected, but someone I'm glad to see.

"Adam!" I gasp.

"Thank God you're ok." He says, hugging me.

"Can you explain where the hell I am, and what is going on?" I ask.

"Y- Your ship crashed just outside the Garrison. Other than that I don't really know anything. Where have you been all this time? Is everything Sam said true? Is Takashi... Alive?" He says rather quickly.

"I'll explain as much as I can. Shiro, Sam, and Matt were captured by an Alien race called the Galra on the Kerberos mission. They were all held prisoners and separated. Shiro escapes and took a pod to Earth, where we rescued him from some scientists or whatever. So me, a boy named Lance McLain, a boy named Hunk, Keith, Shiro and Katie all ended up in space after finding a ship kind of like mine but blue. It took us to a planet where we met two aliens of a different race called Alteans. They told us about Voltron, which I'm sure Sam already explained." I say.

He nods.

"We spent the last... I don't know... Year? Fighting the Galra, who are trying to demolish other planets and drain them of an element called quintessence. We we're in a fight with someone named Lotor who's half Galra half Altean, and he was trying to kill us. My ship got thrown from Voltron as they were entering a wormhole. I don't know how or why. All I remember is falling... Then I blacked out." I explain quickly.

"So... He's alive. Is he ok? Where is he?" He asks.

"T- That's the thing... When we were there he was captured a second time. We got him back... Or at least we thought we did, but the Shiro that's been with us the last few months has been a clone. Last time I talked to anyone on my team, Keith said he had Shiro, the real one, but he was different and wasn't how we know him. No idea what that means, but I'm pretty sure he's alive. But location... I have no idea. There's no way to contact them, I tried before blacking out but my headset was damaged. I- I don't know what to do." I say.

He looks down, sad.

"Oh God." I ask, almost in tears.

"W- What?" He asks in a concerned voice.

"K- Katie!" I gasp, realizing I have no clue where she is, and she has no clue where I am.

Adam looks at me puzzled.
"Are you ok?" He asks.

"No!" I ask, at this point I'm sobbing uncontrollably.

I guess another nurse hears my sobbing, she walks in and notices how panicked I look. She asks Adam to leave and give me time to rest.

She exits after leaving me a glass of water. I ignored the small cup near the bed, and burry my face in the pillow. My girlfriend, my brother, my best friend, my friends, gone. Somewhere in the galaxy.

Why does this keep happening to me?

Nothing interesting happens tge rest of the day besides the nurse periodically bringing bland meals.

I fall asleep later that night, as I lay, clenching the tear soaked pillow, nightmares play throughout the night. I wake almost every other hour in a cold sweat, no one to turn to. No one to talk to. No one to tell me it's ok. I feel so alone. So close, but so far away.

I awake once again in a piercing scream. I don't even remember the dream, just that I'm terrified. I remember Pidge, sneaking into my room when she had a nightmare. I miss her so much. Her smile, her laughter, the way her smile could light up a whole room, the way she could make any situation seem less stressful, her soft hazel eyes, her lovely personality. Everything.

I turn to look at the clock, 9am. I wonder what everyone is doing in space right now. What time is it where they are? Did Shiro make it? How's everyone doing since I left? Where are they? How long would it take for me to get there? Is there any way to track them? So many questions run through my head.

Adam walks in once more.
"Hey," He sighs, shutting the door.

"Hmmm?" I mumble, sitting up.

"Did I wake you?" He asks.

"No, I've been awake. Haven't really slept much." I sigh.

"Oh." He says. "I asked when you could be discharged."

"When?" I ask, a small glimmer of hope appearing.

"She said to check with you and if you're doing better that you could get out of the room a while. I know it's probably boring being cramped in here alone." He replies.

I nod.

"We were going to have a meeting with the commandees and officers. Sam said you could attend if you felt up to it. We'd like for you to join, to discuss what's going on." He offers.

"I'll go." I sigh.

"Cool." He says. "I'll tell the nurse." He adds before walking out. A nurse then brings me some clothes to put on to leave the room. Just a simple Garrison uniform top with short sleeves instead of long, that way my casted arm can fit through, and some black pants.

Once I change, she helps me into a wheel chair because of my foot.

"Are you in any type of pain?" She asks.

"Not really." I lie. I'm scared if I say yes then she won't let me go. Truth is, I'm in excruciating pain.

She pushes the wheelchair to the room where the meeting is taking place. I join everyone, and the staff meeting begins.

(A/N) I'm tired as hell, but here's a chapter. I'm probably going to start off the next in Pidge's POV then time skip. Just be prepared for some  A N G S T.

Sorry this was short and uneventful, I'm tired af and don't Kno how to write an interesting chapter lmao.
