"What do we do?!" Pidge yells.
"We have to stay focused!" Keith instructs. "Lance, Hunk, [Y/N], can you still pilot your lions?" He asks.
"Yeah." Lance replies.
"I think I'll manage." Hunk adds.
"I'll give it my best." I say, trying to sound encouraged."Shiro's gone, who's piloting the Black Lion?" Pidge asks.
"I will." Keith says, determination clear as day in his voice. That makes one of us.
We all go to our lions, trying our best to pilot them, but the Galran ship is chasing us, and is getting pretty close.
Dodging the lasers becomes difficult. If I make one wrong move.... I'm dead.
We form Voltron, but still, we're being shot at. It's getting harder and harder to dodge. Not to mention my job as basically the power supplier/navigator of Voltron, making sure everyone is coordinated, sending power signals to the other limbs of Voltron, and navigating is not an easy task. Especially when I'm exhausted, and was literally almost killed by my own brother ten minutes ago.
"We can't take this much longer!" Pidge yells.
"Any ideas? [Y/N], a little help?" Lance anxiously asks.
"I'm trying!" I yell frantically, trying my absolute best to work all of my controls properly and not get my team killed.
We're being shot at every five seconds just about. It's hard to not get hit. I'm in so much pain, from being hit so many times, and also from earlier.
"I don't know how much longer we can last. Energy's low, and I'm in so much pain functioning is difficult. I'm trying my best." I say.
"Coran!" Keith calls through the headset. "Fire just below our position!"
"What?!" Coran asks in disbelief.
"Destroy the rock we're pinned against!" Keith instructs.
Coran follows through.
Eventually we're not being shot at. Voltron crashes on a rock, but we're fine. That is until, we look up.
"Is that-" I ask.
"A wormhole?" Lance asks.
"They're trying to escape!" Keith yells.
We start racing towards the wormhole, but something's up...
"The beams torched our power cord!" Pidge yells.
Wait ...
We start getting closer and closer, something going wrong with every inch we fly towards the wormhole.
"We're not going to make it!" I yell.
"Disband!" Keith instructs.
"What?!" Pidge gasps.
"The energy from disbanding might create enough thrust and propel me through the wormhole." He says, quickly.
"You'll be the only one!" Allura yells.
"Do it!" He yells.
We do, and it works. Keith gets through just in time for the wormhole to close.
*Time skip*
After we got Keith through the wormhole, we realized the castle has been affected by a virus. Everyone went to work on fixing it, but with me being overworked and in pain, Coran gave me an easy task that wasn't necessary since I'm having a lot of trouble focusing.
Good call on his part, because I fell asleep like five minutes after he left. I'm in the same room as Lance and Allura, the control room, I was given the task of organizing tools. I sat down with the box of tools, but immediately passed out, out of pain and exhaustion.
"Hailing the castle of lions!" Keith's voice calls over the intercom, waking me up from my catnap.
"Keith! You're ok!" Lance exclaims, smiling.
"Huh?" I ask, sitting up, and rubbing my eyes. Wait a second... "Oh my God!" I exclaim.
"Are you ok?" Allura asks. "Did you get Shiro?"
"I've got him-" He starts. My face lights up. "But not the Shiro we know. The Shiro who took Lotor was a clone."
"Then where's the real one?" Lance asks.
"I'd also like to know!" I say, standing up.
"Oh good, you're awake!" The princess says. "Yes, where is the real Shiro?"
"It's complicated," Keith says. "I'll explain everything later, but right now you need to be focusing on Lotor."
"-It looks like he's heading to your position, right where you are." Keith says, sharing the data he'd picked up.
"He needs to get back into the quintessence feild." Allura gasps.
"I'm on my way, but without a wormhole it's going to take me awhile." He explains.
"Ok." I sigh.
We all climb into our lions quickly, and fly out to where they'll be coming from. We need to destroy the inter-reality gate, in order to keep Lotor out of the quintessence feild.
We shoot our beams at the gate in sync, destroying the gate. All we can do now is wait...
I zone out a bit.
"We've got incoming!" Lance announces, snapping me out of my daze.
Focus. I need to focus.
Lotor starts communicating with us telling nothing but his lies. But we're not buying it.
"-Join me, Allura. We're on the same side." He pleads.
"No, we're not!" She yells, shooting at his ship. Oh boy, this is going to be 'fun'.
Lotor tries at his lies again, they don't work. He gets annoyed and orders his generals to destroy us.... Great.
They go at us, and once again, we're being shot at, difficult to dodge.
I notice the green lion take a direct hit.
"Pidge!" I scream.
"I'm fine." She groans. "You?" She asks.
"I'm ok." I lie. "Just exhausted."
"Don't worry guys!" Coran calls. Apparently he finally got the castle running. Thank God!
Lotor's Generals disengage, and leave the battle after Lotor's power-hungry rage. Good call...
Then, Lotor does something insane! He ejects the generals from their ships, and uses the ships to combine into his own Voltron type thing.
Coran shoots at it from the castle, and manages a pretty good shot. But... Prince Asshole fires back.
"Impossible!" I gasp.
"Lotor's weapon has completely repelled the castle's attack! How?" Pidge notices.
"Pidge! Get out of his line of sight!" Lance yells.
"I- I can't! He's locked into me!" She screams.
I immediately start racing towards her. Ignoring everything around me.
"[Y/N]! What are you doing?!" Hunk yells.
"Be careful!" Lance adds.
I manage to use my lion to push hers out of the way a bit, enough to help her gain control of her own lion.
"Thank you, [Y/N]." She says.
"Of course." I reply.
We fight some more, I spend the whole time wondering when this is going to end. Just then, the Black Lion teleports? Some how...
The Black Lion attacks Lotor head on, and does a pretty great job.
"Form Voltron!" He yells. We do as instructed pretty quickly.
