Your POV
*A couple weeks later*

This war has been agonizing.

Not in the way a war would usually be agonizing for me. It's agonizing because I've been forced to watch, it rage on, with no ability to do anything in it whatsoever, nor help.

I guess Sendak enjoys watching me suffer, which I wouldn't have any trouble believing. Everytime something mildly interesting happens with Voltron, I'm forced to come up to the main control center of the ship, where Sendak controls everything, handcuffed and gagged, to just sit there, and watch my friends get hurt, with nothing I could do.

I've barely slept. I've been too busy thinking, about the war. About Voltron. About Katie. Too busy thinking about everything.

Today was a little different than usual. I'd been thrown back into my cell early, after "bad behavior" when I managed to get off the gag, and spit in the guards face when he'd yelled at me, and gone to put it back. Not much of a power move, I know, but it felt good at the time; like I'd finally taken back a bit of control for myself, like I'd shown I'm still not entirely vulnerable... Even if all I did was cause a small annoyance.

Acxa had been moved from my cell for reasons that were not disclosed about a week ago, leaving me even more lonely, left with only my thoughts.—

I'd been in my cell no more than an hour before I'd heard muffled talking, of Sendak, no doubt, with one other person who's voice I'd recognized, but couldn't place, followed by crashing noises, almost resembling falling.

After the passing of another hour, I'd heard a pounding on one of the cell doors, followed by a yell. It almost sounded like.... No, that's impossible, I had to be losing my mind. But, sure enough, it'd arose again.

"LANCE?!!! PIDGE?! HUNK?! ALLURA?!" The voice had to be Keith, there's no way someone who sounded exactly like Keith would be calling everyone else on the team's names.

"I'm here," Lance replied.

"Yeah, me too." Hunk added. "How long have we been out?"

"Looks like we've lost about an hour," Pidge said. At that point, I was sure I wasn't hallucinating. Her voice sounded so real.

"What happened?" Allura asked. They all sounded so hopeless, and saddened. I wondered what I'd missed after being sent back to my cell.

"We're on Sendak's ship," Keith sighed. "Admiral Sanda... She sold us out."

"So that was the voice," I thought.
After hearing everyone's reactions to the sentence, I decided to speak up, choking back tears from how relived I was.

Then I heard Sanda, she'd been locked up as well, and shared the same tone of hopelessness. "He said he'd leave Earth if he had the lions... He lied to me. This is all my fault. I wanted to protect my people, but now I've doomed them all."

"Admiral. What is Sendak's plan?" Keith asked.

"He's moving the Zaiforge canons into position... You must know. I- I wanted to save Earth."

"Guys?!" I called, not able to hold back any longer. "I- Is that you?"

"[Y/N]?" Pidge called.

"Y- Yeah."

"No way," Lance muttered.

"Oh my God," Pidge muttered, sounding as if she was nervously laughing, and crying at the same time.  "Are you okay? I- I can't believe-"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I lied. "What's going on?!"

After a quick briefing of what's been going on with the fight, Keith began with the plan. "We need to get out there, Atlas can't win this by itself!"
