Pidge's POV
*2 days later*

As I sit on the floor, blanket around me with my laptop perched on top of my legs, I start to doze off... That is, until I hear a weird noise. I look up and see the pod start to open, and
[Y/N] start to fall out of it.

Outside POV

As you open your eyes, you finally start to regain consciousness. The second you realize your falling, you feel two arms wrapped around your shoulders, and stop you from hitting the floor.

"Pidge!" You smile, as she embraces you in a hug.

"[Y/N], I was so worried-" She starts.

You realize how close your faces are, you go to open your mouth to say something, but are quickly interrupted by you lips just barely brushing. You feel your heart beat speed up.

"Oh my God" You think. "This is actually happening!"

Pidge quickly pulls away, her face bright red, of embarrassment.
You feel the heat start to rise in your face also. You sit on the ground in front of your pod.

"Uh- Sorry about that!" She fake laughs.

"Yeah, uh-" You pretend to laugh it off too. You secretly wish it wasn't an accident. You wish it would've lasted longer.

Shiro walks into the room.
"Pidge, it's time for-" He starts to say, but stops as soon as he sees you.

"[Y/N]! Your ok!" He smiles, pulling you into a hug. You wince in pain, you're still a little sore.

"Pidge can you take [Y/N] to her room? I'll bring her a plate of food, she needs to rest, she's not completely healed yet." He asks.

"Uh- Yeah, sure!" She replies.
She helps you up, and walks you to your room. You grab your regular clothes, and walk to the bathroom and change. When you're done, you slowly climb into bed.

Looking over at Pidge who's sitting in your desk chair by your bed, you Pat a spot next to you on your bed.

"Sit!" You laugh.

She does so, and sits next to you. Shiro walks in with two plates of food, hands them to you two, and leaves.
After you two eat, the room is silent for a while.

Pidge checks her watch.
"Oh, would you look at the time... I've got to go to the training room. I'll come back later." She smiles before leaving.

"Oh no!" You think. "She's acting weird!"

You lay there a while, exhausted, but sleep deprived. You hear a knock on the door.

"Come in," You mumble.

The door opens, and you notice the dark haired boy enter the room.
"[Y/N], you awake?" Keith asks.

"Yeah," You say, sitting up.

He sits on the end of your bed.
"T- thanks for... Thank you for doing that. Risking your life. You saved mine! I'm sorry." He says, apologetically.

"Oh shut up." You laugh. "I wasn't going to let him kill you! It's fine, just drop it."

"It's not fine, you literally took a hit for me cause I wasn't prepared." He looks down, avoiding eye contact.

"No, I did it because he was going to kill you. You wouldn't be able to take him out yourself, he was twice your size, I know he wouldn't expect that, so I used the element of surprise. I jumped in front, confusing him, and got a good hit in before he stabbed me. But I'm ok now, you don't have to worry." You say.

He smiles. "Thank you."

"What happened after I got knocked out, anyway?" You ask.

"Well," He starts, his smile fading. "I killed that Galra, after he stabbed you. Then we requested emergency pick-up. Pidge, Lance, and Hunk came to help us. Then Pidge picked you up and ran to her lion, and got you to the castle in like 30 seconds. Ok, maybe not that fast... But, she's the reason you didn't die. If she wouldn't have gotten there so quickly, and took you to the castle, you would have lost too much blood.. and-" He sighs. "You would've died."

You sit there a moment, trying to process everything.

"Pidge saved me?" You think.

"What's wrong? You look like something's on your mind. You want to talk about it?" He asks.

"I guess that would be a good idea." You sigh. "It's just that- I- Uh-"

"Go on," He encourages.

You sigh heavily. "When I fell out of the healing pod... Pidge caught me. And after we hugged... She... She kissed me. But then after it happened, she was acting weird. She tried to play it off as an accident, and just avoids eye contact... And-" You stop, suddenly.

"And?" He asks.

"I really like her! I have for a while, and for a bit I was hopeful that maybe she liked me too. But... Now I know she probably doesn't."

"Look [Y/N], she sat in front of your healing pod for days waiting and worrying, she obviously likes you. It's just probably really awkward for her. Give it some time, then maybe later tonight, tell her how you feel." He says, acting all brotherly.

"Shiro said the same thing." You laugh. "Thanks Keith,"

"Anytime." He says softly, before leaving, and closing the door.

You decide to try and sleep for a while, since you're exhausted.

When I wake up, I need to tell her how I feel. But, I'm terrified!
