(A/N) Just a quick filler chapter uwu kind of important to the plot, but also just a quick chapter.

Season 6 episode 4!

I stand, nervously, in the control room with Coran and the other paladins. We're all in our armor, ready to assist as backup if necessary.

Allura and Purple Lucius Malfoy (Lotor) are using the ship they've built together for the first time. I... I still do not trust him whatsoever.

Hunk protests, saying the plan is insane.

"I agree with Hunk..." Coran says.

"I do too," I agree. "This could be really dangerous and possibly deadly."

"I don't know... I mean, we've traveled through the quintessence feild and to another reality." Pidge sighs. "This isn't just theoretical physics, mathematically we know it's possible."

"Well it is hard to argue with math..." Coran sighs. "Believe me, I've tried."

"But even if they do raise the quintessence feild, then what?" Lance pipes up. "Last time anyone made it in, it turned Zarkon evil."

"Lance makes a fine point. Take that math!" Coran exclaims.

"The quintessence did not create those evil qualities, it only revealed them." Shiro adds.

"Well what about Mr. GreatHair over there?" I ask. Giving Lotor dumb names had become my thing lately. I never address him by his real name. "He's Zarkon's son! I'd bet my life he possesses the same evil traits. Like you said, Shiro, the quintessence feild only reveals them. Yes, it's mathematically possible, but it could quite possibly end up getting all of us killed! Then what chance does the universe have?"

"Would you let go of your dumb grudge against Lotor?!" Shiro snaps. "What even started this in the first place?"

"He's seemed sketchy from the start. You all seem to forget he's almost murdered us all SEVERAL times." I say, addressing everyone. "But, what? Now that he's not emperor anymore he's fine? He was a ruthless ruler! He's taken lives, innocent ones! He uses people! Why are we just forgiving him all of a sudden?!" I snap.

Shiro shuts me up, rather rudely. I scoff, crossing my arms. Lotor's a jerk, I don't understand why everyone's all of a sudden ok with him basically taking over.

The hatch opens, and their ship begins to leave the castle.

Pidge puts a comforting arm around my shoulder. I don't push her away, even though I'm not in the mood to be around people. I sigh, and just stand there.

Shiro has really been acting strange.

We watch the ship leave, and fly out to it's destination. "This is not going to end well." I think.

"So, this is goodbye... For now." Coran says quietly, watching the ship carefully.

"Allura?" Lance asks.

"Yes Lance?" She asks.

"Get back safe..." He sighs.

"I will." She smiles.

Oh no. I swear to God if he's flirting with her!

"Shut up!" I think. "He's just being a good friend."

With Keith not around I've been worried about Lance flirting with everyone again. I don't want any more rocky patches in their relationship. I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid. I just don't want to see my best friend hurt again, after everything.

"T minus, ten ticks to gate entry." Coran says, staring intensely at the screen. He begins counting down the seconds- or ticks. (I'm still getting used to Altean language.)

After they enter the castle alarm starts going off.

"What is that?!"

"We've got an incoming craft!" Coran gasps.

How?

Shiro instructs Coran to pull up the footage on the screen. He gasps. "It's an Altean pod! A really old one!"

"How?!" I gasp.

"What's it doing out here?" Lance asks.

"Let's find out." Shiro says, sounding awfully brave.

"Uh- ok?" I say, awkwardly.

"Attention Altean Pod!" Shiro calls through a mic. "Identify yourself!"

A familiar face clicks on to the screen.
"Shiro! It's Keith." He says.

"Keith." Lance gasps. His eyes go wide, and he smiles slightly.

"Keith?" Shiro asks. "Are you ok?"

"Where have you been?" Pidge asks.

"Is everything alright?" I ask.

"And how did you get your hands on that pod?" Coran asks.

"Where's Lotor?!" Keith demands.

Something's up...

"He's in the quintessence feild." Hunk responds.

"Oh no." Keith's eyes widen. A look of fear. Of concern.

"What is going on?!" I demand. I need answers.

His pod lands in the castle. We go to greet him. I'm still extremely curious as to what the hell is going on.

"Keith." Shiro gasps. "It's so good to see you!"

"Hold on, how do we know you're the REAL Keith?" Lance asks. Honestly, he's such an idiot I'm not even a hundred percent sure he's joking.

"I don't have time for this Lance!" He yells, walking towards all of us.

"Hey everybody, Keith's back!" Lance laughs.

"We need to stop Lotor! He's been lying to all of us!" He demands.

"I knew it!" I yell.

"L-Lying about what?" Shiro asks.

"Everything!" An unfamiliar girl's voice yells.

Out steps two people -Or, Aliens- That I've never seen before. An older Galra female, probably in her thirties, and the girl who the voice belongs to, a young looking... Altean? There's a wolf with them...

"You're Altean!" Coran exclaims.

"And who's the Galran?" Lance asks.

"Is that a wolf?" Hunk questions.

"I promise I'll explain everything when we get to Lotor!" Keith says, stressed.

"We... We can't get to him." Pidge says. "He just entered the quintessence feild with Allura." She explains.

Uh oh... That's not good...
