Your POV

Laying on my bed, starring at the ceiling, lost in thought, I hear a noise.

*Knock*

"Yeah?" I call.

The door opens slightly, it's Pidge.
"Hey, can I come in?" She asks quietly, trembling.

"Sure," I say softly. It's the middle of the night, why is she knocking this late?

She stands next to my bed.
"Move over." She says, playfully.

I do, and move over a little. She lays on my bed.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing..." She mumbles. And although she said it's nothing, I don't entirely believe there's "nothing" going on.

"You sure?" I ask. "You seem upset."

"Nothing, just... Nightmare." She mumbles. "C- can I stay in here?" She asks.

"Of course!" I respond. I wrap my arms around her. She smiles, we lay there silent for a while, and eventually fall asleep.

Lance's POV

I go to sit down at the table for breakfast, and notice the lack of both Pidge, and [Y/N].

"Where are Pidge and [Y/N]?" I ask.

"I don't know... Can you go find them?" Shiro asks.

"Yeah, whatever." I shrug.

I decide to stop by Pidge's room first. Empty. Then I go to [Y/N]'s room.

I knock. No answer, so I slowly crack the door open, and hear snores. I fully open the door and see [Y/N] and Pidge asleep, [Y/N] cuddling Pidge. They look so peaceful, and happy. I close the door and walk back to the dining area.

"Where are they? Are they coming?" Shiro asks.

"No, they're resting." I respond softly.

They're so cute together.

Pidge's POV

I awake to feel to arms tightly wrapped around my waist, [Y/N] still asleep. I roll over to face her, and see her [H/L] [H/C] hair, all messy, she's definitely asleep.

I wrap my arms around her as well, when I start to remember why I came in here in the first place.

I had the worst dream. I know it sounds crazy but when I had when up from that dream, I was a mess.

I dreamed I was standing on top of the green lion, and it was in the middle of some kind of ocean, sinking. There was four people with me, and only room on a life boat for one of them to escape. My parents, [Y/N], and Matt were with me. I could only choose one. I was freaking out, the lion was sinking faster and faster. Everyone was arguing over who should get off, and then [Y/N] pushed me into the life boat, and pushed it away so I could escape, and I had to sit there and watch them sink, and there was nothing I could do about it.

I squeeze her tighter. I know it sounds childish but, it hurts me just thinking about it. I'm glad I came in here, [Y/N] makes me feel safe, and actually happy. Losing her would be the worst thing that could happen to me.

I feel her start to wake up, I close my eyes, and pretend I've yet to awaken.
She sits up.

"Pidge. Pidge?" She whispers. I stay silent.

"Pidgeon?"

I pretend to be asleep, but I feel myself smile.

"Hey. I see you!" She laughs. "I know your awake."

I start to laugh, and open my eyes.

"Morning." She smiles.

"Good morning." I say, hugging her tightly.

Just a dream.
