Your POV

The girl pulls a key from her pocket, and unlocks my handcuffs, carefully tossing them down.

"Come on," She whispers.

"What are you doing?" I whisper back, as she drags me out of my cell.

"I'm saving your ass!" She whisper-screams. "Thank me later. Run now."

I follow her out. We run through corridors, halls, and the many twists and turns of the main ship where I'd been held captive.

"Why are you doing this?" I ask.

"What?"

"Why are you doing this?" I repeat. "You hate me, remember. I'm a paladin. You're with Lotor."

"Lotor's gone." She says coldly. "And if I don't do this, you're next."

I remain silent after that. The stinging sensation is still in my shoulder, and still just as painful, but I ignore it. I grab my shoulder, thinking pressure would stop the pain, but it just hurts more. I run my fingers over my shoulder, feeling a slightly raised part of skin; a scar.

I must've gotten hit in the fight, and hadn't noticed...

I follow her, running, hiding behind things, more running, more hiding, etcetera... But, eventually my vision begins to blur. I continue, hoping it'll go away long enough for me to escape, and I could sort it out once I leave. But, it just gets worse.

"Ah!" I shriek, crouching down.

"Shhhh!" The girl chides. "What is going on?!"

I don't answer. I'm overwhelmed with a pain far worse than I've ever experienced, seeming as if it's spread from my shoulder to my head. "Fuck! Shit!" I cry, holding my head in my hands, unable to see, and barely able to hear.

I hear muffles words coming from the girl, none of which are able to understand. I feel as if I'm spinning, or the world around me is spinning, untill I collapse, falling over onto the ground, everything going blank.

I wake, startled and still screaming, an unsettled feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Gee, you're alive." A voice says.

I sit up, and realize I'm back in a cell. Not my original one, but a cell.

The voice was coming from the shadowy patch on the other end of the cell. My vision came back into focus, and I realized it was the girl who had attempted to help me escape.

"W- What's going o—" She cuts me off.

"Your little 'freak out' got us caught." She rolls her eyes. "Now we're both captive, and if we piss the Galra off again, we're dead."

"Dead?"

"Executed." She says coldly.

"How long was I out?" I ask frantically.

"A day or two, I think."  She sighs.

"Have you heard anything of Voltron?!" I ask, anxious.

"Not really. I know they're fighting Galra armies now." She trails off. "What happened to you the other day?!"

"I- I don't know. My shoulder hurt, then it felt like my brain just... Turned off. My vision blurred, I was spinning, and everything went dark." I tried to explain to the best of my abilities.

"Uh oh..." She muttered. "That... That's not good."

"What?" I pleaded. "What's not good?!"

"I don't know..." She said. "But they did something to you."

(A/N) Really short chapter, I'm sorry. But I'll update more soon, I promise. I wanna go ahead and finish this, as I'm not as into this fandom as I was when I started. I'll probably complete it within the next few days, but don't quote me on that. 💙
