Chapter 13

Zoe's POV

"So to summarise you have to come in 2 times a week for a checkup and take these tablets three times a day"

I look at the doctor with happiness in my eyes.

"Does that mean I can go home?" I smile gleefully.

"Pretty much" he hands me a pair of crutches.

I start to hobble my way out.

"On your way out you need to visit reception and give them this" he hands me a form.

"Okay, thanks" I hop away as fast as I can.

I pull out my mobile and call Alex.

"I'M OUT"

"Yay!" A young voice sings

"Um...is this Alex"

"It's fweya" she replys.

"I think you mean Freya, F-r-eya" I sound out to her.

"Yeah!" She brightly hiccups.

"Can I speak to your mum?" I ask.

"No" she demands.

"Freya" I warn.

"She's busy" Freya insists.

"Doing what?" I sigh.

"Talking"

"Just hand me over Frey"

Suddenly I hear the creak of a door being opened followed by voices.

I manage to catch a few words.

"...direction....relationship"

"Committed....even with the tours....work it out"

"Mummy Zoe says she's out" Freya giggles.

"What?" I hear Alex squeak.

"She's out!" Freya repeats.

"Can you hang on a minute Calum?"

I know it was short but I have had no time and it's eleven o'clock and I'm bored.

That's basically all I have to say.
