Michaels POV

"What happened with Calum's sister?" Aurelia placed her hands on her hips.

"Well they're dating" Luke states.

"No, no we're not....we were but now....I guess....it's not-"

"Are you dating her yes or no?" She asks

"No but-"

"Just say no, no buts"

"No I-"

"You can't just say no can you?"

"Let me explain" I reason.

"No Michael I don't want to hear it. You asked me to marry you when you're dating someone else"

Aurelia's twists the ring off her finger.

"Four years I've wasted on you, four years I was loyal for four whole years I dedicated my life to you..." Tears threaten to spill from her eyes as she speaks softly.

She lays the ring down on the table next to me making a horrible clunking sound.

"Goodbye Michael" she whispers kissing my cheek gently before closing the door quietly behind her.

I turn around and head into my bedroom.

I sit down and hold my head in my hands.

I squeeze my eyes shut trying to shut out the world

A small part of brain is half convinced if I concentrate really hard I can reverse the whole hour.

I would know when Luke was coming.

I could explain about Mali in my own time.

I could sort everything out.

Everything would be back to normal.

"You're engaged?" Luke asks.

"Were" I mumble.

"Look I'm sorry but she had to know"

"Not from you though" my voice ebbs slightly higher.

"I'm sorry dude" he pats my back.

"Just leave Luke"

"Sure but you've got a large whole to dig yourself out of" and with that he leaves the room.

Luke's POV

I check my ever buzzing phone.

I click on the twitter application.

I select her contact on my phone.

It goes to voice mail.

"Zoe what the hell is going on. My twitters literally being attacked where are you?"

"Please will you come with meee" I whine holding a box of Joes old stuff.
