Luke's POV

"What?" I splutter.

"You having two little girls" the woman says again her smile faltering slightly.

"Nobody told me" Zoe exclaims.

"Oh" the woman chuckles slightly.

"Are they okay?" I rush.

"Well they both have healthy heart beats..." She begins.

At this I hold Zoe tight kissing her forehead.

"But one of them has twisted legs, this means she may not be able to walk depending on the birth"

A tear drops down Zoe's cheek, I brush it away with my hand and pull her into my chest.

"I love you" I mumble into her hair as she trembles dissolving into tears in my arms.

Alex's POV

I can't tell anyone.

Me and Calum decided.

But keeping a child a secret....?

I guess we're still an us but a private us.

Even from Zoe.

Everything is terrifying.

The scan was terrifying.

Secrets are terrifying.

Pregnancies are terrifying.

My wardrobe now consists of baggy jumpers, track suit bottoms and a few pairs of jeans.

Wearing dresses, skirts and skinny jeans are a thing of the past.

If I'm going to keep a secret I'm going to do it right.

No more nights out.

A fridge full of non-alcoholic beer.

A life time of secrets.

This isn't want I want.

To be living a lie.

I can't even tell Freya.

I can't tell my own daughter she's going to be having a sibling.

I can't even find out if it's a boy or a girl.

Because of Calum.

I've put my whole world on hold for him.

What do I get?

Him, and I guess I'm not even sure about that.

Anyway spending my time drowning in self pity won't help anything.

I sigh, looking down.

I'm already starting to show.

I pull my teal knitted jumper on and slide on a pair of jeans.

"I'm back" Zoe calls.

Quickly I hurry out of my room and rush up to her.

"How did it go?" I fake a smile.

"Woah did someone just vacuum in here cause they've sucked the style out of you" Zoe raises her eyebrow.

Luke chuckles going into their bedroom.

"So?" I ignore her comment.

"It's twins" she breathed.

"Wow!" I exclaim.

"Twin girls!" She continues.
