Dez Point of View.
After my bold move with Austin.. I feel so alive. I start to get nervous when i realize Kira is gonna bash me with insults. Damn I need a smoke. I wish I could just be happy like every other guy in the world but no. I have to be gay. I have to be a fuck up. I have to be in love with my best friend. I have to be hated my everyone. I have to hate me. Worst of all. I have all these secrets . And they are killing me. Just like my secret love for Austin.
At lunch I get a text from ally saying that they will not be joining Mathew and I for some food. Damn.
"Hey Dez'" I hear Mathew call.
"Hi"
"You feeling okay?"
"Probably not , I just asked my gym teacher to hook up" I laugh.
"Oh god what did he say?"
"He said when and where" I laugh again. "Then I said what the hell I was just joking. It seems like there is a pedophile in our school"
Mathew is laughing so hard he almost falls over. "Damn I wish I saw his face"
"So where do you want lunch?" I question and take out a cigarette and offer him and he accepts and I light them.
"Uh, wherever I guess"
"Burger King?"
"Sure"
"God I haven't seen you in so long" I say to Mathew .
"Yeah I've changed right?" He laughs.
"Mhmm. I wasn't expecting you to get a boyfriend." I'm still shocked by that.
"Me either but I guess I realized my true feelings"
"Aw that's good" I coo.
"OH MY DEZ LOOK!" He screams at me, and I remember the joke we made when we were smaller.
"OH BALLOONS! I BET ALL YOU SLUTS WANT IT UP THE ASS!" I yell and people give me glares.
"Oh god" he laughs .
"Ugh I'm hungry c'mon" I say and grab his hand and we walk into Burger King.
"How do you even like Austin?" He asks once we are seated.
"I don't know really"
"He's such a smug jerk.."
"I know but I love him."
"I love how cliché this is" he chuckles.
I laugh with him and we walk back to school and with our usual ciggarets to smoke.
