Austin POV
Just as things are going well. Everything goes downhill once more.
Dez is acting very strange and keeps checking the doors and looking around his apartment for minutes at a time. I'd ask him "what's wrong?" And he'd reply with nothing.
I am deeply confused and a bit tired of him not telling me, overall I am very angry.
As Dez comes home , once again at 2 am, checking the doors and clocks I speak up.
"Dez. What are you doing?" I say sternly.
"N-nothing" he stutters.
"You have been doing this all fucking week. It is not nothing. So don't fucking nothing me" I shout at him. He doesn't answer .
"If you don't tell me, I will leave." I say and Dez's head snaps up with tears threating to fall down his precious face.
"You wouldn't"
"I will"
"I can't tell you" he says
"Are you like... Cheating on me or something?" I say with my voice low. What if Dez really is cheating on me? I don't think I can live with myself if he is.
"Answer me!"
"I'm not Austin" he says but doesn't look me in the eye.
"Look me in the eye and tell me" I say but he doesn't oblige.
"I'm leaving"
"No" Dez says and wraps his arms around me.
"Y-you can't" he says
"I can"
"No"
"Dez! Stop!" I push him off me. He looks shocked at my actions and pushes me back . My anger takes over me and I slap him. He starts crying. As soon as my mind registers what I have done. I start to cry as well.
"Dez. I- I didn't mean it" I begin to hug him but he pushes me away.
"I think you s-should leave"
I don't even take my stuff with me, but before I go, I kiss Dez on the cheek, tell him I always love him.
And I leave.
