Dez POV
Later on that night I get a call from Austin.
"Hello?" I say into the phone.
"Hey Dez"
"Hey"
"How are you ?" He asks and I hear a lot of voices in the back round. If he's at a party why is he calling me?
"Aus. If your at a party, why are you calling me?"
"It's - I just really miss you and there's this annoying girl following me and I keep telling her to fuck off but she won't and it's annoying so can you just come home alreadddy?!" Austin is seriously begging me right now but he never begs.
"Austin I miss you too, but you aren't even in Miami yourself.."
"Well your right about that I guess. I'm in canada!" His upset mood seems to be gone.
While I am on the line with him, I get another call from Eli.
"Look, I gotta go. Eli is calling me and it's important. I'll see you soon. Love you." I say and hang up. I answer the call from Eli.
"Bro. The deal we gotta make is soon. Can we come to your mom's house?" He asks me and I hear Jade cursing in the backround. Those guys never stop fighting.
"Let me ask" I put the call on hold and go downstairs.
"Mom. Can my friend Eli, come here to pick me up? We're going out." I ask and she nods.
"Alrighty then" I mumble and go back upstairs.
"Yeah Eli you can come here"
"Great! What's your address?"
I give him my address.
I hang up.
I wait.
I think about Austin but I can't stress over it.
Ugh why the actual fuck is this happening now?
I hear the doorbell ring and go downstairs but I am to late. John as opened the door. And I can tell by his expression that he doesn't approve.
"Uh. Who are you?"
"Hi ! I am Dez's friend. My name is Eli, I'm 18 and .. " Eli trails off.
"Oh John this is my friend. We are going out." I say hopefully he won't question further.
"Oh okay. Have fun.. Don't get in trouble with the cops." He says and ushers us out of the house.
When we are outside..
"Who the fuck is that?" Eli asks me.
"John. He is my mom's boyfriend"
"Oh . He doesn't seem... Nice. Does he know your gay?" He ask as we sit next to each other in the car.
"Where is everyone?" I ask
"They're at the place because I wanted to talk to you" Eli says seriously
"Oh"
"Anyway, does he know your gay?" Eli begins to pull out of the driveway.
"No. My mom didn't want me to tell him. She was scared that he would probably not accept. And I can tell that she doesn't want to lose John. After losing my dad and all that shit." I say and he hums.
"But that really sucks though. I mean won't he find out?"
"He almost did in fact, he asked me if I had a girlfriend and I just said no." I say and Eli gives me a sigh.
"Alrighty well we are here"
"Let's get this over with"
I step out of the car
