Dez POV
I'm glad things worked out between Austin and I , I was afraid that things wouldn't work out.
I'm siting at home feeling good I guess. I think it's nice that no one is living here except me, but it's kind of lonley and too big for just me. I think I should get an apartment though. It's smaller and would be good, for just me. I'm thinking about calling my mom, well, even if she practically disowned me. I don't know what to do. I call her.
"Hello" I hear her usually kind voice , cold.
"Mom, it's Dez"
"Oh Hello Dez. I'm rather busy with work and such , make it snappy. What do you want?"
"Well, I don't think it will be a short conversation" I trail off and I hear her sigh.
"Look. I'm in California right now, I'll send plane tickets, you can come over to my house, and we'll talk. And if it's about my romance life now, I have a boyfriend-" she says I cut her off.
"It's not about your love life. It's personal. So I'd like if you can send me tickets." I say
"Okay. You know what, to make it easier, I'm about to head over to the back. I'll add money to your credit card and I'll pay it, all you have to do is buy the plane tickets and come" she says slowly. She seems stressed.
"Don't be stressed, I'll do that. When should I come?"
"Maybe next Friday?" She offers and it's Tuesday.
"Sure. See you then" I say that and she gives me her address and I hang up.
This should be quite the trip.

Later on I head over to they alley, I walk in and see all the Outlines.
"Hi Dez" Eli says coming over to hug me.
"What's up?" Gerad asks me. Oh he's back from NY.
"Well, I'm going to California, next Friday, to talk to my mom. I'm thinking about selling the house and just getting a small cozy apartment for myself. The house is too big and has too many bad memories, that can't help to consume my mind." I say and Eli gasps.
"WHAT? DEZ! YOU CANNOT LEAVE! WE HAVE THAT BIG DEAL NEXT FRIDAY UGH!" Eli clings to me.
"Calm down babe." Grayson tells Eli. Wait they're dating?
"Why can't we just move the deal to California, we have a business there also." Oliver suggests.
"OMG UR SO SMART OLI!" Eli screams. God this boy has a lot of energy drinks.
"He's being obvious" Jade says with annoyance.
"Can I talk to you outside Dez?" Eli asks and I nod and we step outside.
"Dude, what's up?" I ask him.
"Me and Grayson are dating and I'm afraid. I- ugh."
"It's alright. Have you gone on a date?" I ask
"No. But we kissed. We aren't boyfriends yet though. What if he doesn't like me?" Eli Asks in worry.
"Don't worry. I felt that way with Austin. You'll be good." I tell Eli and he seems happy.
"Thanks Dez, your good with advice"
"Thanks" I shrug.
"You gotta accept compliments Dez"
"Sorry, how do you think I should tell Austin?"
"Just tell him. Maybe he can come along. And you guys can you know. Wink wink" Eli smirks and I cover my face and blush. Eli's eyes widen.
"HAVE YOU DONE IT?"
"Um. Yes?"
"OMG." Eli goes back inside.
"JADE YOU OWE ME $5 THEY DID DO IT ON THEIR FIRST DATE"
"Dammit" Jade sighs and gives Eli the $5.
"Yay ciggarete money!" Eli smiles happily.
I roll my eyes and begin to make my way to Austin's house.
