Dez POV
(An hour later)
"Honey I'm home!" I hear a deep voice call out. I'm honestly afraid but my mom nods at me, somewhat telling me that it's fine. She walks into the living room.
"Hi John" she says and I hear them kiss.
"Come meet my son" she leads John into the kitchen and we make eye contact. He actually looks nice. He has black hair, skinny but somewhat toned. And brown eyes.
"Say Hello" my mom urges to me.
"Oh um. Hi I'm Dez..I'm 17.." I begin to say but I get thrown into a hug.
Why is this man hugging me? He barley knows me.
"It's so great to meet you! You sure are a handsome young boy. You must be killing the ladies with your eyes" he says to me and I just chuckle. I wanted to tell him that I like guys but mom told me not to.
"So Dez, let's chat." John leads me into the living room as my mom begins to cook some dinner.
"What do you like to do?" John asks me.
"Well. Sometimes I read, draw, watch sports, swim.. And ski. But I usually go upstate, to Vermont, to ski." I tell him.
"Would you like to know what I like to do?" John asks me and what the hell. I don't even know this guy!
"Sure" i respond.
John goes on about how he loves football and baseball and working out and damn are we different.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" He asks me. And I almost choke on air. Should I tell him?.
"Um no I don't" I tell him and I thank god that he doesn't question it further.
"Alright boys! Dinner is ready!" My mom calls and John and I go into the dining room and take our seats.
"So Dez, go on and ask John" my mom says.
"Well. I want to sell my house. I mean it's too big for just me and I have some really bad memories there and I just want to get a little apartment by Miami beach for myself" I tell him.
"Why sure! I can defiantly help you with that! Not right now but maybe Sunday? Because I have a lot of work to do." He says and I'm glad it's Friday.
Thank god this won't be too much longer.
At least this will move quickly..
I hope.
