Dez POV
We arrive at the airport in California. And wow it's crowded.
We all move to a less crowded area after picking up our luggage.
"Alright. So Dez. We'll meet up with you tomorrow for the deal? Or.." Grayson trails off.
"Yeah. That's good. Just call us. Bye Dez!" Eli says and we all go seprate ways. And I thought this was going to be easy. I call my mom when I step out of the airport.
"Hello?" I hear ask
"Mom. I'm here. Um. What should I do?"
"Oh hello Dez. So yes I'm on my way now."
She hangs up on me. I sigh. I wait a few minutes and then I see her.
"Dez!" She yells and I walk over to her.
"Hi" I hug her and she hugs back.
"Alright let's go!" She says and we get in the car.
"So. How do you like California?" I ask her.
"It's a nice place. Expensive though. I have many friends and as you know, a boyfriend now"
"That's good for you"
"How's Austin doing?"
"Good"
"Are you guys ... Hmm. Dating?"
"Do you have a problem with it?"
"No I don't care. As long as your happy. Your .. Father had a problem but let's not remember that. Oh. Don't mention your sexuality to John yet. He's my boyfriend .. As you may know. I still don't know what his preferences are" she says to me and I groan in my mind.
"It's fine"
"How's your other friends? Eli ? I don't remember the rest of them..."
"They're alright" I say as we pull up into the driveway. Wow. She seems that she has moved on well. A nice home. New boyfriend. Money. My mom has it made. As we walk in I almost faint. This house is huge! It's big enough for a a .. High school if it could. A small one but a big enough one.
"Come! Make yourself at home" she says as she sits on the couch.
I sit on the couch preparing myself to tell her what I wanted to tell her for a long time ....
