Austin POV
I'm just laying around in my house watching some random show on the television, I have to admit, I miss my parents. Even if they were busy and didn't give me lots of attention, I still wish they were here. I hear a knock at my door. Who would be here? I go and open and see Dez. He walks right in and sits on the couch.
"Hi" I say and kiss his cheek, sitting next to him.
"Hey. We have to talk"
"Oh no"
"Oh Austin, it's not bad. It's just ugh" he tries to explain and pat his back telling him to take his time. He then breathes out.
"Well, yesterday I was talking to my mom and she was busy so she invited me to go visit her in California. And I'm going next Friday" he says to me and I let that sink in. I mean, I will be fine alone, I just realized. I do have some concerts next week.
"So will you be okay with it?" Dez asks me and I nod.
"Yeah. I hope you and your mom have a nice discussion. I actually might have some concerts next week so .. Yeah that will be fun! I think I'm going to Canada" I say with joy.
"Oh okay! That's good for you. When will you be back from that?" He asks and I'm not sure.
"I'm not sure" I tell him
"Please don't get smug again" he asks and I tell him not to worry. Dez tells me that all the Outlines are going with him to California because they have to make some deal. And I tell Dez to not get in trouble with the cops and he giggles.
"Well I should get going?" Dez tells me.
"Alright love you"
"Love you too"
