Felix walked into the tent to speak to Oswald. His shoulders were slumped.
"Hey Feel, is everything alright? You look kinda down" you said walking up to him.
"Yeah I'm fine, just a rough day is all" he smiled sheepishly.
You knew better. You pulled him in for a hug.
"Felix.....what happened?" you asked again.
He broke down crying as he hugged you back. He had his heart broke by the girl he'd been seeing for a while. You kept him from falling as his legs failed to cooperate. You said nothing as you continued to hold him and comfort him.
All day long I can hear people talking out loud
but when you hold me near you drown out the crowd Felix eventually got over her and you soon filled the void she left behind.
He took you out of town to a huge festival on valentines day. Everyone ogled at the famous author as his arms wrapped around your waist. Girls squealed out of jealousy because he wouldn't take any pictures without you in them with him.
The second he swept you up for your first kiss, it was magical. The roar of the crowd fell silent to your ears.
