Boris later followed you up to the rooftop, the same spot where he broke your heart. He watched as the siren and you had a final discussion.
"What's the matter sweetie? You haven't done anything to take back your lover" siren jeered.
"What's the point? You won. He chose you and now he's gone. I have no reason to fight anymore and after today, I won't be around to keep you from him" You said getting on top of the bench to reach the ledge.
Boris was horrified. He really was being used. Something in him snapped into place.
Love is blind, an endless bliss The only way to break this spell is by your loving kiss.
Before your foot could leave the edge, a hand gripped your wrist. You were firmly pulled back into someone's toned chest. You looked up to see Boris' teary eyes as he desperately kissed you.
You couldn't help but return the kiss as everything felt right again. He pulled you into his lap, afraid to let go as he kept saying I'm sorry over and over.
Siren disappeared. She knew she had lost. She may have won the battle, but you won the war.
