Tick tack
Do you hear the clock?
It's hitting 10
PM
You sat there at your desk, the clock ticked loudly in the quiet room. You were hunched over your desk as you worked by dim candle light to finish your work before going home.

He knocks on the door
Just pretend
Pretend, that he went to work
Although he wasn't at work
There was an unusual knocking at your office door. It was well after closing hours, and everyone besides yourself had gone home for the evening.

Just as quickly as your suspicion arose, it faded. You knew well enough who it was. Norman Polk. He has a bad habbit of not showing up all day and acting like he was working the whole time.

Most of the employees get skittish around the quiet man and tend to ignore or avoid him at all costs.

He is here
In your bed
Where you're staring at
Norman sat down on your chaise lounger. You somewhat glared at him as he nonchalantly made himself comfortable like he does every night.

He accepts you like you are
Even if you crushed his car
He's loving you
So loving you
But when he's mad
It seems so new
You were probably the only person he wasn't thoroughly annoyed with. Things awkward hit off between you the day you met.....after you hit his car.

You were flustered before the interview with Joey, and he pulled out of nowhere. There was no honk, no signal, nothing, he appeared out of nowhere.

You being a somewhat quiet girl, were stunned. Even as emotional as you were, your words came out like you were trying to talk over a harsh windstorm. A more breathy whisper. That alone piqued his interest.

He was usually a calm, docile person, but when he did get angered it was almost petrifying.

Alone, alone, alone, alone
You're alone!
(You're alone)
Now you sit here in the darkness, surrounded by pools of ink and time worn decay. The deadly substance stained your skin as you wandered about the old ruined studio. As far as you knew, you were alone, aside from that abomination that was supposed to be the Ink Demon.

You're alone, yeah
You're alone
Now listen when he sings:
There were times however, where you swore you could here the distant humming of a familiar tune. You never found the source however hard you searched.

I am here
But I'll dissappear
Dissappear from your sight
Norman, or The Projectonist as he's been referred as, has been lurking very close. He followed you silently through the halls and corridors, making sure to stay out of sight.

You will cry
But I know that you will be alright
Be alright when I'm gone
'Cause I'm coming back one day
May it also be the next day
He'd painfully watch as you cried from helpless loneliness. It hurt him deeply, but he knew it was better this way. Maybe one day he'll come out into the open, even if just to give you a little comfort after you've had your enough.
