This is not a time travel story nor 100% romance. This story is inspired from Her highness the Queen Purificacion "Pura" Villanueva, the first queen of Manila Carnival, technically the first Ms. Philippines. She's a feminist journalist from Iloilo who fought for the rights of women during the American collonialism. Most of the chapters are either political or historical. A story about a woman and her love for the country.
Again, Ang Unang Reyna is "inspired" by Pura's achievements. The dialogues in Eleonor's life, some of the situations did not happen in real life.
This is still a work of fiction in touch with history. I just took inspiration from Pura's heroism and created Eleonor.
Also contains themes such as harassment and violence that's not suitable for people with this kind of trauma. Please be guided.
