Acid Tears

What would happen if people knew your fears

If every person cried acid tears

And every tear left a scar

If everyone could see who you really are

The pain you've suffered through

And they were made aware of what they never knew

If everyone saw they were the same

Different versions of the same game

Though for different reasons, everyone cries to themselves at night

What if that truth was exposed, it would be a horrid yet beautiful sight

To see every face discolored and scars where their tears dried

If we were all exposed, no more secrets, nothing left to hide
