Look to the moon and the stars
They shine so effortlessly in the night
We don't look when their beauty is shown
They're still there in the day
But overlooked because of the sun
People are like this, it's well known
We're so distracted by people society say are beautiful
That we don't look deeper than skin
We focus so much on people's outer beauty
That we miss the rarer form of beautiful
