Markus's POV

I made my way through Henry Ford Commemorative Park, heading toward Bellini's Paints. I watched as a little blonde girl ran toward and was embraced by an AX400 model with dark skin and hair, scaring the pigeons on the ground as she ran. After a moment I began walking again, noticing the androids gardening and an elderly man sitting on a bench, accompanied by a female android.

"Would you like to go home now?" The female android asked an elderly man.

"Yes, Rose. Yes, I think that's enough for one day..." He replied kindly.

"Here. L-let me help you," Rose stuttered.

"Oh! Oh, thank you, dear," He said as he was helped up. They left and I proceeded to head to the paint shop. I noticed as a human ran past me, an android as his running partner. The man stopped suddenly and placed his hands on his knees, panting heavily.

"Hey! Water," He commanded, making grabbing gestures and the AC700 complied.

"You have run twelve miles and are five miles away from your goal," The AC700 said as the human guzzled water. When he was finished, he threw the bottle at the AC700 and started running again. I ignored it and crossed the street, exiting the park.

"Hi," A homeless man said as I walked by.

"These are supposed to be in bay seven," I overheard a robotic voice say.

"Sure, sounds good," A female voice answered.

"Hey, you got a dollar?" A new voice rang out. I kept walking, coming across a man playing guitar and singing. A sign was at his feet that read 'Human music! $1 to hear music with soul.' I proceeded on my way to Bellini's Paints, passing by a group of protesters.

"We've got families to feed and these androids are taking our place!" A protester said through a megaphone.

"Machines, ladies and gentlemen, are meant to serve us, not replace us!" He continued.

"God will not let this happen, no, he will not allow his creation to be led astray by these... these artificial demons! Why do you look at me so, demon?" A passionate, religious man asked me as I looked at him, expressionless.

"I know who you are, I can see through you! You are the one by whom The Evil will come! You are the one who will destroy Detroit!" He rambled before leaving me. I ignored him and entered Bellini's Paint Shop. I placed my hand on the scanner and allowed it to scan me.

"Identification verified," The sales android said before bending down to get the paints Carl had ordered.

"Here's your order #847. That will be $63.99. Please confirm payment," He continued talking. I paid him, my LED glowing yellow for a second and then his glowing yellow as he verified the payment.

"Payment confirmed," I told him.

"Transaction complete." I picked up the package and left the shop.

New Objective- Take Bus Home

I took a right, noticing the AP700 parked in the Andriod Temporary Parking unit. I ignored her and kept moving. Unfortunately, I had to go past the group of protesters to follow my new objective.

"What do we want?" The leader asked the crowd.

"WORKERS' RIGHTS!" They answered.

"When do we want it?"

"NOW!" They noticed me and stopped for a second.

"Where the fuck you going, tin can? Hm?" The leader asked me, walking towards me. I tried to ignore him and continue walking, but he got in my way.
